Features

This mod does the following:

- Changes all weapon damages to be more realistic. Different materials do nearly the same damage. Instead of increased damage, they have different advantages over other materials (e.g., Elven weapons are faster, Ebony weapons are more powerful but slower).

- Reduces all weapon, bow, and staff weights to realistic amounts, increases standard weapon durability, and modifies weapon range and speed. See the readme section for more.

- Tweaks the balance between Blunt and Blade weapons. Blunt weapons are generally shorter, slower, and more damaging.

- Increases bow damage to be roughly twice the original damage.

- Renames Iron, Steel, and Silver Bows as Cedar, Oak, and Yew Bows.

- Increases the effect that skill has on your damage output. This was to make sure early opponents wouldn't be vastly easier while later opponents would be much the same. The damage multiplier is now based 75% on your skill level and 25% on your Strength.

- Increases the amount of damage blocking can prevent. The minimum amount blocked is 50%, and each level in the Block skill increases this by .5% for shields, .35% for weapons, and .18% for hand-to-hand.

- Reduces the amount of weight the player can carry, to compensate for drastically reduced weapon weights.

Mod Compatibility
****

This mod should be compatible with any mod that doesn't change weapon stats, staff stats, or game settings relating to weapon damage or blocking.

Since Enchantment effects are on a separate table, mods that change the Enchantmant cost should be compatible. However, if a mod changes the amount of charge a weapon holds, it will not be fully compatible with this mod.

Known Issues
****

For savegames, enchanted weapons made by the player, either via Arcane University or Oblivion Stone, will not have their stats changed. The weapon's data is stored in the savefile and is unaffected by any mods that change weapon stats.

I increased the fatigue multiplier to compensate for the lower weight values of the weapons. So if you use any weapon with its original weight, your fatigue will get wiped out right away.
