1. INSTALLING THE PLUGIN
*****************************************************************
NOTE: This version of the mod is no longer under development. The version which is still receiving bug-fixes, revisions, and additions of new content is merged into Vampire Hunting - Order of the Virtuous Blood at: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=30568
This mod is big and my Internet connection is unstable, so the mod comes in two parts:
300_Caldera Update Part 1 of 2, and 300_Caldera Update Part 2 of 2.
Install them both the same way:
1- Place the downloaded "Data" folder into your "Oblivion/Data" folder.
If asks to overwrite or merge, choose "Yes".
2- When launching the game, select data files and check the box by "300_Caldera Update.esp."

2. Mod Description
*****************************************************************
Big new update making the mod into much more than just the town of Caldera in Morrowind. There are
now quite a few dungeons and quests. There is quite a bit of dialog. There are new items. Creeper the
merchant buys and sells things. The issue of lag has been worked on. Proportioning has been changed.
The world map has been added. The worldspace around Caldera is now playable. There are enemies in
the wilderness.
You reach Caldera by use of a mage Guild Portal on the second floor of the Cheydinhal Mages' Guild.
The fee for using the guild guide's services is 35 Septims.

- 8 Dungeons including:
Uveran Ancestral Tomb
Shushishi - Bandit Cave
Ramimilk - Daedric Shrine Ruin
Indalen Ancestral Tomb
Heleran Ancestral Tomb
Ashanammu - Cave with hostile NPC's
Abaelun Mine - Diamond Mine
- 3 Quests:
Nedhelas
Aeta Wave-Breaker
Elmussa Damori
- A possible Player-Owned Home.

2.1: 5-18-10. More extensive mod-cleaning.
2.0: 12-21-09. Big expansion. Fixed bug with inoperative trap door in Mage Guild tower.
Fixed bug with missing meshes in windows at night. Added seven dungeons, two quests,
and most of what is outside Caldera proper. Numerous changes to existing mod.
1.1: Patch - This fixes a bug with the SilverFlameslayer.
1.0: After a month or so, Version 1.0 is complete.
Beta 2 - Countless changes, Bug Fixes and Updates bring us to Beta #2.

4. Known Issues
*****************************************************************
(1) The close-in local-area map does not center correctly and have a "your position" marker when
outdoors in the Caldera worldspace. No one seems to know where to even start looking for the
problem.
(2) The world map is very accurate as far as distances in between sites and directions between them,
but the details of what lies between are rather inaccurate.
(3) If you try hard enough, you can escape from where you are supposed to be and get outside the
finished area of the worldspace. It is ugly and boring out there.
(4) I have not been able to get distant land to work, so those non-functional parts are not even included
in this mod.
(5) Bed rental at the inn is sort of odd. Bizarre things happen that the scripts are not telling the program
to do. If you stay at the inn too long, Shenk will steal your key and lock you in your room. You will
have to pick the lock to escape. For some reason copying the way the vanilla Oblivion inns run was
not working. After you rented the room, it was like you owned it and it was yours forever. So now
I have this foolish mess.
(6) While efforts were made to copy lots of details from Morrowind, many things did not end up
looking quite like the original. There are some minor lore discrepancies and chronological anomalies.
Oblivion is not Morrowind, and the models, scripts, and hardcoding are different. So things will look
and work differently. If you don't like it, you can go play Morrowind.
