I loved CKemu's "Dark Beast BC Rich" guitar mod and after playing with Electionis' "Lightsabers with sound mod" I thought I'd try to get sounds for the Beast. I pulled some free usage heavy metal guitar riffs off of the internet and set them for the attack, equip and unequip sounds. Now when you bash some zombies head in, you feel as if your onstage with the Sex Pistols or some crazy metal band. The Beast is not an Uber weapon, is unenchanted and is leveled equally with Daedric weapons, but is much lighter. It comes in a 2-hander blade and blunt version. There are 2 of each in the container but they do not respawn.
This is by far not a lore friendly mod. I just wanted to add this to my own game purely because I love music, heavy metal & beautiful guitars. I also believe that Heavy Metal, Punk and everything aggressive in music can be positive therapy. So, if you're having a bad day go crush some skulls to some mean riffs!
Location
========
The Beast is located in a lone coffin in a lonely corner of the Imperial City Market District. The South East side. I put it here because it's easy to get to for testing and for people who don't wanna trek somewhere. In the future I might build a lair or reincorporate it into the Beast's Maw Cave.
Known Issues or Bugs
====================
-If you enchant the BC Rich it will lose its metal guitar sound effects even if you keep the Beast's name identical. I deliberated whether or not to include an enchanted version but I've decided that there are enough enchanted weapons out there in Tamriel and The Beast deserves to remain a basic weapon. I don't like frilly guitars. Just give me a mean tone, a tuned instrument and some attitude. The Beast here is raw, just as I like it. The upside is that if you get tired of the metal jams, just go enchant your Beast!
-The attack/swing sound for the BC Rich is a little loud for my preference, I intend to eventually fine tune the mix. But metal is intended to be played loud so what the hell...

This file contains mesh and textures created by CKemu. Do not alter or "cannibalize" these files unless they are for your private use only. I created this mod using CKemu's "Dark Beast BC Rich" guitar mod before TESNexus implemented stricter usage rules concerning mod ownership. If CKemu or TESNexus requests the removal of this mod, I will gladly do so. I take modders rights to material very seriously and will help any modder to protect his or her material.
The sound files are free usage sound clips that I pulled off of the internet. I was unable to determine the artists who played the guitar parts. If any of them are ever unhappy with this, I will gladly pull them from the mod and replace them with some of my own stuff. Hopefully by that time I'll have a custombuilt BC Rich and a cabinet that I can be proud of and actually produce some riffs that do this great guitar justice!
