1. INFORMATION ON THE MOD
****************************************
A daedric shrine ruin for Oblivion. The location is in a real bad neighborhood. There are bandit camps and a fort ruin full of necromancers nearby. It is disgusting how the Imperial Legion is totally impotent at keeping the land safe. It is time for some vigilante action by brave heroes and heroines.

The exterior of this ruin is rather unique. It straddles a deep river gorge. You will need to watch your footing closely. Otherwise you may plunge to your death on the rocks below, or land in the slaughterfish-infested water. I am sure it will not help your balancing act on the narrow path, having to fight a running battle with all those daedra.

This location has a very different look to it. The interior and exterior architectural objects have been retextured using re-worked textures from Visual Pack XT, which was designed for retexturing Morrowind. The interior is a retextured Ayleid ruin with so many retextured bricks and blocks added, that parts of it are unrecognizable as what it used to be.

The shrine is located between Skingrad and Kvatch. It is south of Ra'Sava camp, south-east of Gnoll's Meeting Camp, and south-west of Fort Istirus. It is located barely across the Cyrodiil/Valenwood border. This mod automatically removes borders, so there is no need to modify your Oblivion.ini file.

There is an NPC you will encounter who will react to you much differently depending on whether or not you have beaten the Shivering Isles expansion. You might enjoy playing the mod with both a character who has beaten the Shivering Isles expansion, and one who has not.

At this shrine, many of the enemies you will encounter will not be leveled, so you may wish to be level 15 before going there. The enemies re-spawn, so if you have to leave the shrine for a long while, it will be hard again when you go back. The shrine can be raided multiple times because of the re-spawning monsters and some re-spawning treasure. The walls of the shrine are made of dark-reddish stone. It sucks in the light and leaves you in Stygian blackness. Be sure to bring some torches or have another plan for seeing in the intense gloom. In this shrine, death awaits the unprepared, the weak, and the incautious. You have been warned.

2. Installation
****************************************
Extract (decompress) the .esp file to your oblivion directory, the default is:
C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data\
In your mod manager, mark the box next to the "MehrunesFel" plug-in.

Alternately, extract someplace else. Then move the .esp, Meshes, Textures, and Sound folders to Oblivion\Data\. This will merge the .nif, .dds, MP3, and .lip data files (Meshes, Texture, Sound, and lip movement files) from the mod with the data files on your computer. Often you can simply drop the "Data" file into the "Oblivion" folder. Make sure the files go into the proper directories they were in when you downloaded the mod.
