About this mod

The newest update for this collection. Seems I forgot to include the mesh for the chest. Sorry folks.

Permissions and credits
After realizing I had forgotten the mesh for the chest, rather than do another update, I simplified it for all of you and just redid the whole thing. All files are included, and I adjusted the transparencies so they have more of a frosted look. Everything else is the same.

This is my first submitted creation, so be nice, please. The name says Rune Sword, I know; but there are several more weapons in the collection. It started out with just making a custom sword, then I started having fun and before you know it I have all of these cool looking weapons. They are made from System Shock's Crystal Clear weapons found here: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=17606
These are only re-textures; the meshes are by System Shock. I did not ask permission, as the read me said there was no need, but a HUGE thanks to you System Shock. The weapons are a clear, frosty blue, with runes on various parts of the weapons. The runes are glow mapped, so the have a nice glow as seen in the screens. They are normal mapped as well, so the light glints very nicely off the runes. There are 9 weapons in all; I am also planning out some armor and shields, so those will be coming soon. There are two versions of this mod, one that maintains game balance, and in the other the weapons are much lighter, more equivalent to historical blades, as well as speed increase, durability, and damage. These adjustments were made for fun, as well as the idea of a short sword weighing 5-15 lbs was just over the top. For more info on historical weight of weapons, try reading this: http://www.thearma.org/essays/weights.htmThere are a couple of issues with the textures that are explained in the known issues area. Please, let me hear any ideas you may have to improve this mod, but let’s keep it to constructive criticism. All I can say is what seems to be the norm around here: if you don’t like it, I’m sorry. Either don’t download it or you can always uninstall it, but don’t publicly flame me because you don’t like it. Have fun, enjoy.
