10-12-09 Clarification
All captives are in already-existing locations, not newly-created ones. (I have NO idea how to create dungeons... yet.)

My only changes to Forsaken515's work involved adding extra locations (for a grand total of 56), providing male and female captives, ensuring the standard races are represented, and providing them with names (the "old adventurer" is now named Andrel Thonjadir). All credit for the actual scripting goes to Forsaken515. I haven't made any changes there, so there should be no bugs. I've tested the various locations, and everything seems to be working just fine.

Some Shivering Isles content is used-- however, not having SI installed should only mean that one or two captives are running around in their underwear. Otherwise, all content is vanilla.

See also: DiD2: Gentlemen in Jeopardy for an all-male version: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=27392 . Original all-female version is here: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=7572 .

From the original documentation (which is also included in this .rar file):

This mod adds women in need of rescue to random dungeons. This is an attempt to add more interest to dungeon storming. The rescue missions are all simple escort operations.

Upon successful rescue, you'll be given a random leveled reward. Hopefully the reward is enough to make the effort worth your while. There is about a 1 hour (real time not game time) wait for a site to respawn.

If a damsel is lost and/or killed, the quest will eventually reset.

One site where you can sometimes expect to find a damsel is Vilverin. I'll let you discover other sites on your own. You may find a high mysticism level useful for detecting nearby damsels.

If you were using an older version of Damsels In Distress, make sure you uncheck it from your Data Files list.

If you want to change the modify settings, talk to "an old adventurer" at the Wawnet Inn, within the village of Weye, west of the Imperial City.

-the default chance that a damsel will appear is 66%.
-the default time delay for a site to restart is 1 hour (real time, not game time).

Damsels in Distress should now be compatible with mods that alter faction, like Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul.

I tested this mod with a large number of other mods at the same time and saw no conflicts, but keep in mind it can happen.

Standard Disclaimer:
I strongly recommend you save your game before you activate this or any other mod. This mod SHOULD add and remove cleanly but use it at your own risk...

I hope you enjoy this mod, feel free to modify and reuse anything I've done.
