Adds a simple starter house for your PC. I didn't like that the game assumes you're some vagabond, so I added a little house. It's not much, but it has a bed and a couple places to store things, as well as some books. It's basicly a safe place to put stuff until you can afford one of the nicer houses, since stored items at one of the guilds have a way of disappearing randomly.
UPDATES: - Added a small basement - COBOLized! Added the alchemy sorter in the basement, as well as the Luggage. - Minor quest! When you exit the tutorial dungeon, you will get a quest update with the key. Basically, just go to the house and enter and that's it. It's basicly just flavor text, but makes it a little more immersive.
INSTALLATION: Use whatever mod manager you wish, or manual install. Quick and easy.
MANUAL INSTALLATION: 1) Go into the Data folder of your Oblivion installation 2) Place "dbHomestead.esp" in the DATA folder 3) Run Oblivion and, when the launcher appears, select Data Files and check the box by dbHomestead.esp 4) Play and enjoy!
CONFLICTS: None that I know of. I tested it with the base game, COBL, and OBSE, as well as various other mods. This adds a house in Chorral behind Mordyn Odin's house, so if you don't have a mod that adds anything there, there shouldn't be a problem.
