About this mod

Do you love Bruma, but find the buy-able house dark and dull? Bruma House Revived transforms the house in Bruma to mix function with style, whilst still keeping the cosy Nord feel.

Permissions and credits
Bruma is my favourite city, and I was so excited to be able to own a house there. I saved up the last of my septims and bought the deed and upgrades. When I stepped inside, I was thoroughly disappointed. It was dark, dull, empty, and didn't even have a fire!

So I set about learning to use the construction set in order to fix this problem, and this is what I came up with. It transforms the house into a lovely liveable area, whilst blending in seamlessly with the original house and upgrades.

== Changes to the original house ==

Display Cases - I always wondered why none were included, so I added 6 or so, spacing them out over both floors.

Armory Chest - Non-respawning chest with full steel armour.

Weapons Chest - Non-respawning chest with a few silver weapons.

Alchemy Chest - Non-respawning chest containing full alchemy equipment and alchemy ingredients.

Mead Cupboard - You live in Bruma, and Nords do enjoy drinking. A non-respawning cupboard with one thousand bottles of mead (literally).

Fire - It's the coldest place in Cyrodil, so why is there no fire? Added a fire which is enabled with the kitchen upgrade.

Ambient Lighting - The original house was dark and dull, so I replaced all fake light sources with real ones, and made all windows actually produce daylight. Overall it makes the house much nicer and brighter.

Proper Dining Table - The original dining table was bland and bare, but no longer. A feast fit for the emperor awaits you.
Weapon Racks - To store all your weapons, of course.

Wall Removed - I removed a dividing wall to make the tiny "corridor" type thing into part of the hallway. There is still a divider between the dining room and the hallway.

"Lived in feeling" - I've made the house look actually lived in, with repair hammers by the fire, food on the table, glasses on the shelves, wine in the wine racks, alchemy equipment in your bedroom and so on. I know some like to do this themselves, if you're one of those people just take the items off the shelves.

Improved Storage Area - The storage area by the bottom of the stairs was a complete mess, a mixture of storage with a lone table sitting there. I've made the storage area full to the brim with non-respawning containers.

== How to Install ==

Simply extract the .zip file and copy "BrumaHouseRevised.esp" to your data folder. In the Oblivion Launcher, click "Data Files" and check "BrumaHouseRevised.esp".

== Uninstall ==

Remove all items from the house and its containers. While most containers have just moved location, some new ones have been added, so if any items are in those they will be lost. Then simply remove the "BrumaHouseRevised.esp" file from your data directory. It is best to stand outside of the house, but that's not required. All content from the mod will be removed, and the house reverted back to the vanilla version.

== Known Issues ==

Obviously this mod will not work nicely with any other mod which changes the Bruma House Interior. Any mods that add a fire to the house should also be disabled, as this is included.

In addition to this, this mod will only function correctly on a character that has not purchased the Bruma House. The reason for this is because when you buy the house, it will look exactly like the vanilla one, empty apart from a table and the bed. It will enable all the new content as you buy the upgrades. If you have already bought the upgrades before installing this mod, you will not see any of the new content.

This is also my first mod, and while I have tried my utmost to make it work perfectly, I can't guarantee that it will work 100%. If you find any bugs at all, please comment and I'll fix them right away.
