Introduction

Adrift Sanctuary is a player home nearby Cheydinhal, somewhat in the wilderness. It can be obtained through a simple quest, that starts by finding the body of the nephew of the late owner (near Fyrelight cave, on the road from Skingrad to Kvatch, see screenshot). A full backstory on the Sanctuary can be found as a diary on the first floor.

There is a multipurpose Portal inside the house, which allows you to teleport to all the cities and your owned houses (only visible in the list if you own the keys). There's also a special stone (no longer a ring) that gives you a teleport spell as long as you have it on you. This spell teleports you back to the sanctuary and the location it was used from is also available through the portal. The stone cannot be used in combat or in certain places (like oblivion).

Each time you teleport using the portal (recalling does not count) you will use up 1 charge. The portal can be recharged in the cave beneath the house, using either Welkynd Stones (25 charges) or Varla Stones (125 charges).

To configure the destination of the portal, or check the remaining charges, activate it in sneak-mode. The teleportation stone is inside the jewelry case in the bedroom.

Compatibility

The house is now also compatible with Unique Landscapes Arrius Creek! I recommend you try that mod as well, as it adds some very interesting landscape around the Adrift Sanctuary. Important: Load the Unique landscapes ESP first, then Adrift and lastly the patch.
