Description

So, now that it's summer, I've been going around my old mod ideas and trying to resurrect them. Very much like my other mod, Ungarim's Hideout, the Vampires of Fanesburrow hadn't been touched for a couple of months until about three days ago. The original idea consisted of a village where vampires came out at night and forced the inhabitants to run indoors and lock themselves in until morning. There was suppose to be a quest where you help the townspeople overcome their fears and drive out the vampires. However, the idea ran into too many complications and died out. Three days ago, I revisited the idea and came up with a much simpler version of the story. However, this revamp of the mod came at a cost: The quest was shortened down and watered down to it's bare bones. So don't expect an uber long questline. That's not to say the mod is dull or anything, but the quests may seem kind of short. Well, thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy the Vampires of Fanesburrow:

This mod tells the story of a small town called Fanesburrow. Unlike most towns, Fanesburrow has a dark secret...

Upon loading the mod, you'll get a journal entry telling you that you've just recieved the deed to a house in Fanesburrow. Travel there and go inside your house. Now, this part is important, so pay attention! You MUST sleep in your new home for the quest to start! Then, well, good luck!

Some of things the mod adds?

A whole new town called Fanesburrow

Several New NPCs

A PC owned house with a servant

Two new quests

There are two quests in all: The main quest, The Vampires of Fanesburrow, and one that becomes available after you finish the main (Training the Militia). Talk to Jeran Helvius to start the second one.

Hints

Remember, when in doubt, ask people around you.

Even vampires have a leader.

The servant will only appear if you rescue her from the vampires.

Explore dillegently.

Glitches and Problems

Only one that I know of. If you use a save game that puts you in Chorrol, the prisoner may appear outside of her cell instead of inside. Don't worry, this doesn't affect the mod. But do try to load a game outside of Chorrol.

The only warning I have to players: DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING INSIDE THE UNDERGROUND TUNNELS! (Vampire Lair) When the quests finishes, the entrance will disappear. So be VERY CAREFUL when leaving the cave.

Oh and be on the look out for an NPC of me, Kevin.
