About this mod

Adds a restaurant that actually serves the player food.

Permissions and credits
So, I kinda got bored of all my big mod projects. I created this as kind of a side thing. Hope you like it!

Instructions:

Welcome to the Hungry Dragon Restaurant! This mod adds a restaurant and bar to the Elven Gardens District.

As this is a game, and I cannot change that, there are some limits and rules to your dining experience. One of the most limiting is the game's inability to make an NPC place food on a table. So, the food will be handed right to you instead.

Here's a quick walkthrough on how to correctly dine in this fine establishment:

1.When you enter, talk to the Greeter on your left. Your table is the one underneath the deer's head.

2.Sit down on one of chairs next to your table. Or you can stand, if you prefer.

3.Look at the menu. This is EXTREMELY important, so pay attention carefully. You must read the menu (meaning activate it) for the process to continue. And you CANNOT lose this menu!!! And pay close attention to those prices, cuz just like a real restaurant, you can't take it back once you've ordered.

4.Once you've exited the menu (forgive the pun), watch as one of the waiters walks towards your table.

5.You must talk to the waiter; he won't initiate the conversation. Tell him what you want. You must choose a main course, drink, and dessert. (No skipping).

6.Once you're done, watch as the waiter descends to the basement and prepares your food. It will take about an hour (game time) for him to come back up, so either use the wait button or just sit back and relax.

7.When the waiter comes back up and walk to your table, you again need to talk to him. He'll give you your food and then ask you to pay. Pay him. If you don't have the money, oh well, you get a 100 gold bounty on your head.

8.To restart the meal, walk back outside and then reenter the premises.

If you follow these rules carefully, you should be fine.

You can also ask one of the men up in the bar to join you for a meal. You can also dismiss him if you get tired.

Oh, and DO NOT go inside the basement. There are some very angry cooks down there who will attack on sight. And believe me, you are screwed unless you're an uber character.

The fast dialogue is fixed by OBSE. This is an optional step, but it can enhance your dining experience.

Glitches and Problems

Only one that I know of. Sometimes the waiter won't appear after one hour. This is because of the pathing downstairs, and there's nothing I can do to change it. Sorry. But all you have to do is wait an extra hour, and he should appear.

As far as compatibility goes, there's no mod that I know of that interferes with this one. There may be a few better cities IC mods that I don't know of, so tell me if you know of one.

Finally, check out the image to see where the restaurant is. It's the little red circle.

Changelog

1.0 Original

1.1 Fixed accidental recompile all problem.

1.5 Added two new NPCs: A barmaid and a drunk joke teller.
Barmaid: Ask her to dinner, but her disposition must be above 80. If you're a guy, she'll even add some sarcastic remarks.
Joketeller: Tells some rude jokes about the other Tamrielic races. Most of them aren't that good.
Added one new main course: Wheat grain, and one new dessert: Watermelon.
Added more furniture to bar and changed lighting to a much darker shade.
Fixed the bounty for not paying to 100.

1.6 Fixed the joketeller, so only he tells jokes.

2.0 Added a new restaurant! The new Hungry Wolf is located in Blankenmarch. It is cheaper than the Hungry Dragon, but meals don't include dessert. And there's no upstairs bar; the bar is on the 1st floor. Expect a more backcountry feel. Your table is the one under the deer's head, so you can follow the same instructions as above. Finally, you can go upstairs and sleep in one of the beds.
