Description
===========

WARNING: According to Growlf the models are unnecessarily heavy and unoptimized. Please be aware of this before you download and install this mod! I am not the original modeler, and have no time nor desire to work on these models.

This mod adds a buyable Thieves Tools Belt/Harness to the game based on taylorsd' Thieves Tool Belt Beta which seems to be in beta limbo.

Location
========

The tool belts can be purchased at The Archer's Paradox in Bravil as well as Jensine's "Good as New" Merchandise" in the Imperial City as both of those cities seem like ideal locations to spawn thieves.

Details
=======

The original mod was made by taylorsd' Thieves Tool Belt Beta which can be found at:

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10217

As I've been unable to contact the author so I decided to upload it myself. This is the full mod with altered .esp and slightly modified folder structure.

The mod includes heavy and light versions of the pack harness and belt harness. I fixed a bug in the tail/amulet assignment of the heavy pack which did not allow the heavy pack to be worn with either of the belt harnesses. I added them to merchants as described in the Location section and cleaned the mod with Gecko.

I hate when great mods wind up in limbo. Hopefully this version will be more useful. In addition, it is not my intention to steal anyone's thunder, so full credit goes to taylorsd for initial creation of the mod. I'm just a fixer.

Install
=======
1. Extract the files to a temporary location.
2. Examine the folder structure and make corrections where necessary.
3. Copy files to (install folder)\Oblivion\Data\
4. Start Oblivion Launcher, click 'Data Files', place a checkmark beside the .esp file(s).

Uninstall
=========
1. Start Oblivion Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the .esp file(s).
2. Delete the files/folders associated with the mod.

I recommend you use Wrye Bash to install and uninstall as it keeps track of what was placed where. However, if you don't want to do that you can download a free utility called WinMerge which allows you to compare folders and subfolders. You can use it to compare the files in your Data directory with the files supplied by the mod and then simply remove the matching files.

Upgrade
=======

If you are already using the previous version of the mod, you should be able to upgrade to this without any problem as the .esp file name has, I believe, stayed the same. If not, just rename mine to match whatever the original is.

Incompatibility
===============

None Known.

Known Issues or Bugs
====================

Some clipping issues that where in the original mod. But nothing major. Works great with thief style armors.

History
