About this mod

Helps avoid constant death and reloads. When player is close to death, they are teleported to a chapel where they \'wake up\' with a random stat loss or gold loss.

What's new in v1.02:

-Rescripted one quest to make it run more efficiently

-Lowered script quest delay time to help prevent unwanted player deaths

-Now when the player passes out and wakes up, all of their items will be missing

-Added a Lost and Found chest located in the Imperial City Prison District Bastion tower

-Lowered player health pass out percentage down to 15% from 25%

-Added camera blur effect when player's health is below 35%

-Added 'You are about to pass out' warning message when player's health is below 35%

-Added 3% chance of waking up as a full vampire


This mod helps deter continuous deaths and reloads due to risky play style. What this mod does is causes the player to 'pass out' when their health gets at or below 15% and be teleported to a chapel located in Skingrad. Upon 'waking up', the player will lose a random skill or gold. You might even become a vampire. Be careful!

Percentages for player are as follows upon waking up at the chapel:

21% chance to lose 1 skill point (out of any one of 21 skills)
21% chance to lose 5 skill points (out of any one of 21 skills)
21% chance to lose 10 skill points (out of any one of 21 skills)
12% chance to lose 1,000 Gold
8% chance to lose 2,000 Gold
6% chance to lose 3,500 Gold
4% chance to lose 5,000 Gold
3% chance to lose 10,000 Gold
3% chance to wake up as a full vampire

Basically, there are 69 random possibilities upon waking up. The lost skills cannot be restored through spells or shrines. They must be learned again or get trained again. Player attributes will not be lost upon waking.


*PCBaseMultiplier was modded 15% to make up for that that last 15% of health*

*Game will autosave upon waking*

*Player may still die sometimes because the quest may not update quick enough to teleport before health reaches zero. But there should be much less player deaths now in v1.02*

*Player will not know how much gold they lost until they recover their items from the Lost and Found chest*

*It is wise to store your gold elsewhere instead of carrying it all with you. If you pass out, there is a good chance you will lose a lot of gold! There are several good mods available that allow storing gold separate from the player. Anyone who is interested, please also check out my Gold Stronghold Chests mod:

This mod certainly will make game play more risky, but I hope players will appreciate what I was trying to accomplish.
