about Exanimis's Funeral Urns

These Urns are made as an addition to the containers of Cyrodill. Along with the
treasure chests, Alied casks and coffins, the modder now has the option of placing these
Urns as well.

[main description]

There are eleven Urns total. Each of the Urns has it's own unique maquette on the top. Each
of the Urns has a seperate texture for the front label so they can be mixed and matched. I made each
of the maquettes as a separate piece from the urns so that the textures can be changed without
retexturing the entire Urn. There are ten Urns representing the ten people who I chose to honor.
There is an additional broken Urn and top that can be placed in your mod as well. If any of the
ten modders honored in this mod don't like their own personal marquette and would rather it be
changed, feel free to change them to your personal tastes. The Urns and the reason for my choices
are as follows, in no particular order.

Darkone: A bronze warrior with his back to the storm, pointing the way.
Without Darkone there would be no Nexus and we all owe him a dept of gratitude

LHammonds: A Jade dragon
LHammonds was one of the first real modders to not only offer to help me with a problem
but to actually take a look at my mesh. I felt honored to have someone like him offer to help.

AlienSlof: Mexican red knee tarantula with a Giger like texture
I've never had the pleasure of having a conversation with her but I do respect her art. I also lack her painting skills but I know she is a fan of Gigers art.

SickleYield: Jumping spider
I know that this species of spider is one of her favorites and I honored her with this Urn
for being so helpful to a noob and for her patience.

Waalx: Two crossed swords and a battle Axe
waalx has offered advice and has been very helpful to me on several occasions. With all the work he
has done with weapons and creatures, I was amazed that he took the time to offer any.

Buddah : A buddha holding up an OK sign.
I think this one is funny. The buddha is holding the sign of OK but he also is holding up three
fingers with his left had. He appears to be saying "Okay, that's three strikes" and with his right
hand he is reaching for his ban hammer. I also added his sacred beard.

Savage Artistry: An angel wielding duel swords
I chose the angel to represent SA's talent and interest in art. She has been an inspiration to me
and more help than she could know.

Vagrant/VagrantO : Symbols
This was one of the hardest urns to make, not because it was hard to model but because it was
so hard to decide what to make. An owl was suggested to represent Vagrant but when I started
the model, I didn't like it. I did an internet search for symbols of wisdom and found two that
I liked. The first is a statue in Japan called the ring of wisdom. The second is the eye of Horus,
an Egyptian symbol of wisdom. Vagrant is without a doubt, the most well informed modder that
I know of. He can help with almost any problem that you have and despite his sometimes brash
responses, he is quick to freely offer advice and his expertise. I personally owe a large amount
of my modding skill to Vagrant.

JDFan: An Anvil
This was one of the first models that I made. JDFan has helped me on several occasions
through PM's and his advice is written in a clear and easy to understand form that makes
them an easy to read and follow tutorial. I can honestly say that these Urns would not
have been finished so soon without his help

Myrmaad: A mermaid with a bow.
Myrmaad has been helpful to me as a noob and remains one of the most helpful and friendly
people on the forum.

This list was not easy to write. There are many others that I would have liked to honor
as well but trying to get ten Urns finished was a huge task. Perhaps in the future I will
add others. There is also included in the download a blank label. By downloading the Deadric font,
you can use it to place whatever name you would like on an Urn.

Version history

This is the first Version and my entry into the Million Member contest.

versions to come:

[add version future here]
I may add new Urns in the future, time will tell
If I can find the time, I will create an esp and upload it for those who do
not use resources

Installation Process

Extract all files to c:\program files\bethesda softworks\oblivions\data. When
you are asked to overwrite files under meshes and textures, select 'yes to all'.

Each Urn has to be set up as a container ( see screenshots for a shot of this process)
The Urns will need to be named for each of the modders in order for the name to show
in game. The dish open and dish close sounds work best but again, that is up to the
individual modder.
