Thanks so much to The_Philanthropy for creating this awesome Alien race!


1. They are custom races and I have boosted their Hand to Hand ability tremendously as well as giving them enchanted rings in an effort to prevent them from picking up weapons and using them. The small amount of testing that I have done they seem to stick with their claws but they do go
after enchanted weapons. If they pick up a weapon and they start using it sorry for the immersion killer just remove it when the battle is over. I do have a plan B that is to give them an invisible weapon to equip. I may implement this in an update later but it also has its drawbacks. You hear the unsheathed sword sound when they equip their "claw" as a weapon and they walk around with that open claw which is a bit odd looking. When the battle is over they put that invisible weapon on their hip. So what is better sometimes picking up weapons and using them or an invisible
weapon which looks like they are attacking with their claw? If I can come up with a better way I will update later.

2. They seem to equip a torch so another immersion killer go ahead and use the party command to turn off torches as that should take care of it.

3. There are not any facial animations but these models are the best out there thanks to The_Philanthropy.

4. They love to sleep at night and are active during the day. Oh well so much for the idea of them being nocturnal.

5. By all means do not use the Menu command "-Shield" which adds a Kvatch shield and cuirass. Just don't do it. If you do remove the shield and cuirass.

Requirements
============
CM Partners Mod Basic - Download and install the latest files here:

(The only files needed to run this Partner is the CM Partners.esp and the CM Partners.esm and of course the .esp from this mod)

Details
=======
These four will not wear any armor or clothes. If they use weapons just take them from them after combat. It just looks ridiculous when they use a shield and weapon but then again some players think that it looks cool.

All four are outside of Dzonot Cave looking for a prospective place to start a new hive.

Install
=======
1. Extract the files to a temporary location (your PC's desktop for example).
2. Examine the folder structure and make corrections where necessary.
3. Copy files Meshes, Textures, and Sound and the DAAlien.esp to "Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data"
4. Start the Oblivion Launcher, click 'Data Files', place a check mark beside DAAlien.esp, CM Partners.esm, and CM Partners.esp and any other CM Partner esps that you want to add to your game.
5. Remember Blackie's CM Partners mod basic is needed for this mod to function. Blackie has supplied excellent documentation that explains most of the options for this companion mod so please take the time and read it.


Misc.
=====
If you are using my other companions Tamara, Raewyn, Aanila, Gimli, or Gandalf it is OK to overwrite the CM Partners.esm, and the CM Partners.esp as they are both compatible with one another. You can use the Party commands now too.

A great thing about these companions is that they are completely compatible with all of the Animation mods out there. Example: trollf's Actors in charge. The animation spells work well.
