Randomly prefixed junk armor and weapons. This helps to offset the problem with bandits and marauders (among others) that seem to carry glass and daedric gear once the PC has reached higher levels. Now they (along with all other NPCs in the game) will probably be carrying Impure, Lesser, or Unpolished iterations of those items which aren't much to worry about. Official Bethesda quality conventions were used when determining how these prefixes would affect item properties, so its completely lore friendly.
