About this mod
This mod lets you skip collecting the letters of recommendation and grants you access to the arcane university. You will have access to the spellmaking altar, enchantment altar, and you can start on advancement tasks in the mage\'s guild. This mod lets you skip collecting the letters of recommendation and grants you access to the arcane university. You will have access to the spellmaking altar, enchantment altar, and you can start on advancement tasks in the mage's guild. If you have multiple characters and don't want to go through the recommendation letters all over again just so your rogue can get access to the university this will do it.
To get access you'll first have to join the mages guild (make a trip to any town's mage guild). Then travel to the arcane university and talk to Polus in the university lobby. Evidently you're more popular than you thought because he's already received recommendations from all the city guild leaders on your behalf!
This mod triggers the mage guild joining script without actually having completed all the subquests, hence, it's a CHEAT. You'll miss out on all the content, quests, sub-quests, and rewards from the recommendation quests involved in joining the mages guild. If there's any you want to do, make sure you complete them before talking to Polus! If you think you want to do the mage guild quests at some point, it is recommended you do the Bruma recommendation (see known issues).
Use: Once you've installed the mod and activated it, join the mages guild. Travel to the arcane university and talk to Polus about "reccomendation". That's it, you're in. You can remove/deactivate the mod now if you like.

Known Issue and Workaround:
If you intend on completing the Mage Guild quests you will need to complete the Bruma reccommendation before
receiving the quest "A Plot Revealed" by the arch mage (midway through the mage guild quests). If you do not complete this quest the NPC at Bruma will be unresponsive on your return visit and you will not be able to complete the quest and advance.I'm not planning any changes to the mod at this time since it could result in additional complications for other quests, and the majority of people seem to be using this mod for university access, not to do the mage quests, so be forewarned.
