Spell Removal Potions for TES IV: Oblivion
by Teh Noob ([email protected])
4/3/06

------
Purpose:
Creates a potion for each spell that will remove that spell, and that spell only. It does nothing else. Won't make you rich, won't make you stronger, won't help you get that hot high-elf chick you've had your eye on in Bruma. It *WILL* however, possibly, help you retain your sanity. Instead of scrolling through a long list of useless spells to find that special one you're looking for, now you can remove any spell you deem unnecessary. How?

Visit these locations to find a new vendor, each specializing in a different school of Magic.
Alteration - Cheydinhal Mages Guild (Jamendithas)
Conjuration - Chorrol Mages Guild (Janella)
Destruction - Imperial City Mystic Emporium (Panaver)
Illusion - Bravil Mages Guild (Graceatis)
Mysticism - Leyawiin Mages Guild (Ianice)
Restoration - Anvil Mages Guild (Cardove

Now yes, this *WILL* remove the spell from your spellbook, and as such, it will *ALSO* remove the spell effect from your available list for spellmaking. But let's be realistic.... if you're level 10, you're NOT going to be using the start "Flare" spell that does 6 fire damage. And if you just *have* to use it, you still have the option of visiting your local spell vendor and repurchasing it.

------
Use:
To use this plugin, simply unzip into your Oblivion Data directory (by default: C:\Program Files\Bethesda\Oblivion\Data) and select "Data Files" on the Oblivion Launcher screen, placing an "X" next to the "SpellRemovalPotions.esp".

------
Known Issues:

Only one so far:
With some of the potions, the names got a tad long... ("Remove Spell: Absorb Ability: Destruction") To view the full name of the potion, simply click on it, which will bring up the Buy Confirmation window, displaying the full name of the potion.
