About this mod

Replaces NPC combat taunts with silent sound files, thus \"removing\" them from the game.

Permissions and credits
This mod replaces NPC combat taunts with silent sound files, thus "removing" them from the game.

Version 1.1 is now available, which "removes" extra sound files for generic enemies that had been missed in the initial release.

I have learned three things from attacking the various humanoid NPCs in Oblivion:
1. They've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me.
2. I fight like a pregnant cow.
3. This is the part where I fall down and BLEED TO DEATH!
The first time I heard quotes like these, they were a little bit charming. Maybe. Well, not really. Actually, they got pretty old pretty fast. I can't stand hearing them, repeated over and over again. It drives me insane. If they drive you insane too, this mod may be just what you need.

Installation:
The mod is available in both omod and manual installation format. I HIGHLY suggest using the omod.

For the omod, just drop it into your "...\Oblivion\obmm\mods" folder and activate it with OBMM.

If you got the manual installation package, extract the contents of the rar to your Oblivion game folder. I recommend making a backup of your "voice", located in "...\Oblivion\Data\Sound\", before extracting the files.

Uninstallation:
If you got the omod, simply deactivate it.

If you installed it manually, go to your "...\Oblivion\Data\Sound\voice\Oblivion.esm" folder and remove the "argonian", "breton", "dremora", "high elf", "imperial", "nord", and "redguard" folders. Restore your backup "voice" folder if you made one.
