CM Armor Expansion Mod Description:
The CM Armor Expansion is an update to SVS Studios’ Armor Expansion Mod original released in 2006 which created the Heroes Hood Shop in the Market District of the Imperial City. (See the original readme included in the download.) The mod used only existing armor files and added no new meshes or textures except for the shop sign. Despite this, there were jumbled meshes and textures directories included in the download, and in game there were many large yellow blobs indicating missing meshes.
There were some good armor combinations and they had given a few clothing items armor ratings. Plus, they were making several existing armor sets available from the first of the game. I hate being forced to wait for better armor simply because I have not reached some magic level. This is a very unrealistic restriction. Besides, the name of the shop was just too good to pass up.
CM Armor Expansion Mod v. 1.1 Changes:
1. Minor changes to merchant armor and clothing inventories, deleted some of the lamer armor sets, and adjusted leveled inventory lists.
2. Added a variety of standard weapons in leveled inventory lists with some more powerful weapons appearing a little earlier than standard merchants.
3. Fixed the Path Grid so the merchants do not kick their display items all over the floor.
CM Armor Expansion Mod List of Changes:
1. Deleted some armor sets and almost all the Meshes and Textures included, since they were just renamed existing files anyway. Corrected the bad file links on the remaining armor so they would connect with the proper files. Revised some armor sets.
2. The Light Armor Merchant now offers the following revised Light Armor set combinations: Agent, Armored Mage, Assassin, Bloodmail, Enforcer, Hunter, Highwayman, Monk, Ranger, Spy, Thief, and Woodsman.
3. The Heavy Armor Merchant now offers the following revised Heavy Armor set combinations: Conjurer, Magician, Monk Heavy, Mountain Monk, Noble, Spirit, and Swordsman.
4. Added several game armor sets for sale including chainmail, mithril, elven, ebony, glass, and blackwood armor. Also included the cuirass and shield of the town guard for each town in Tamriel.
5. The Light Armor Merchant also sells a variety of hoods, robes, and other clothing.
6. Both merchants will sell other armor sets based on the Player’s level.

Unzip the files into the Data files folder and click yes to install textures and meshes. Activate CM Armor Expansion.esp and play.
