I have seen a few ghost race mods, and have had the same problem with them all, this is my solution to it.

Permissions and credits
This is just a simple mod that allows you to play as a Spirit/Ghost/Wraith.

You can pick the "Ancient Spirit" class from the list of classes.

What this mod does:
The Spirit race is a copy of the Breton class, but with a few added abilities.

You gain 3 Lesser powers.
"Sever Spirit" which allows you to gain the appearance of Ghosts. (Note: This is where the other mods have the problem, when you enter or leave a cell ((IE: From In a city, to outside.)) you become nearly completely invisible, this happens on this as well, but you can cast "Sever Spirit" again, and you will have the effect once again, or Cast "Bind Spirit" to look normal again.

"Bind Spirit" which allows you to bind your soul back into your body. (Ghost mist and glow effect stays until you leave a cell. IE: From a city to outside.)

"Wraith Form" Which gives you the appearance of wraiths, and reduces your Normal weapon resistance by 50, and raising your magic resistance by 50 for 300 seconds (5 Minutes.)
When you enter or leave a city with "Wraith Form" activated, you will become very light, and almost completely see through, this should fix once the time runs out, or you can cast "Bind Spirit" to look normal again.

This race has the same stats and powers as a normal Breton, but without the Resist Magic ability.
You also gain 100% resistance to normal weapons, and 100% weakness to magic as your active abilities.


Install:
Take the "Spirit Race" .ESP and place it into your oblivion data folder, start up Oblivion via "OblivionLauncher" Click the "Data Files" and check 'Spirit Race" and click "OK" then just start up oblivion just like you would any other time.

Uninstall:
Uncheck "Spirit Race" .ESP from data files, and delete the .ESP from your data folder.

Requirements:
None that i am aware of, but you will need the "Custom Race Fix" mod to hear the Dark Elf speak once you start a new game as this race.

Conflicts:
There should be none, this mod adds a brand new race and spells to use.

Bugs/Glitches:
Becoming nearly invisible once leaving or entering a cell.
Which can be fixed by using "Sever Spirit" or "Bind Spirit" spells.

I hope you all enjoy this, as much as i did working out the kinks and bugs within it.
