1. DESCRIPTION

This mod adds basements to 16 shacks in the game. These shacks had backdoors but no door to lead to a basement.So I added a door and created a basement for these 16 shacks. The basements represent the personality of the NPC living in the house. So some basements are dirty, abandoned or plain normal. Others are affected by some vanilla quests.

The shack you can buy in the Imperial City also has a basement now. It comes with the house, but you must buy the storage and decoration upgrades at Three Brothers Shop to fill it.

There are two versions of the plug-in. The basic version only adds the basements while the Radiant AI version adds basements AND changes the schedules of the NPCs who own the basements so that they visit it from time to time.

2. REQUIREMENTS

You need the latest version of Oblivion. That's it.

3. INSTALLING/UNINSTALLING THE PLUG-IN

Simply extract all of the .rar's contents to your Oblivion/Data folder.

To uninstall, remove the ESP file and the Wolf Statue mesh (hbwolfstatue01.nif) in the Oblivion/Data/Meshes/clutter and its associated textures in Data/Textures/Clutter/helborne folder.

4. PLAYING THE PLUG-IN

In the Oblivion Launcher, activate "Cliff's Shack Basements.esp" or "Cliff's Shack Basements - Radiant AI"by double-clicking on it.
DO NOT ACTIVATE BOTH ESPs AT THE SAME TIME.

5. SAVE GAMES

You do not need to start a new game to see the changes.

6. CONFLICTS/KNOWN ERRORS

- Will conflict with any mod that also adds basements to the shacks modified by this mod.

- The Radiant AI version will conflict with mods that affect the schedules and inventory of the following NPCs :
Valus Odiil, Chorrol
Astante, Brindle Home
Merildor, Brindle Home
Mivryna Arano, Cheydinhal Stables
Jiv Hiriel, Hackdirt
