==========================

Updates from v1.0 to v1.1
=================
Now comes in 3 flavours;
* Standard 1.1: As initial release, except start timer before any reductions made has been increased to 1 hour for bounties>2500, 2 hours for bounties>3600, 4 hours for bounties>6000.
* Unforgiving 1.1: As initial release, except start timer before any reductions made has been increased to 1 hour for bounties>2500, 2 hours for bounties>3600, and bounties over 4000 are frozen (do not drop).
* Most Wanted 1.1: As initial release, except start timer before any reductions made has been increased to 1 hour for bounties>2500, bounties over 3000 are frozen (do not drop), and bounties over 4000 will raise over time (+1 per 20 seconds real time play, per 10 seconds for bounties>6000, per 6 seconds for bounties>10000) and you will receive a warning that you are now a "Most Wanted" criminal.

Brief Description:
===========

This mod will cause bounties to gradually decrease with time, for those thieves/assassins etc. that want to melt away in to the night for a while, without being forced to always have to either pay a fine, sent to jail, or killed by guards as the only choice once you have a bounty.

If it helps at all, you can imagine that the guards are very busy, and don't have perfect memories either. If they don't catch you after a while, they must dispose of the evidence they had (if any!) to make way for evidence from fresh crimes, and spend their time with all the crimes currently taking place rather than devoting all their time on finding you.

Being caught picking a lock means you need to escape for up to 10 minutes real time. Assaulting somebody? You'll need to vanish for a good 40 minutes or so real time. Murderer? Oh dear... you should vanish in to the night for at least a few hours real time.

Longer Description:
============
When you first get a bounty, you now get a message on-screen "You are now a wanted criminal!". I thought this was helpful to instantly alert you when somebody had seen one of your mid-deeds and given you a bounty. A timer of 2 minutes (real-time) also starts up, before any bounties are reduced at all (note that this 2 minute timer starts over if you gain any further bounty).

Once the initial 2 minute "heat" period is over, your bounty will start dropping. The speed at which it drops depends on the level it is at (exact figures below). Once it has dropped back to 0, you will get a new message on-screen "You are no longer a wanted criminal.", and you will be safe once more to wander past guards.

A few example of rough times it will take for bounties to completely disappear to 0, to give you an idea of how it works (including the 2 minute "heat" timer before any reductions get made);

Bounty of 7: (picklocking a door) 7 minutes real time.
Bounty of 40: (assaulting somebody) 36 minutes real time.
Bounty of 1040: (killing a guard) 3 hours.

Bounties of extremely high figures (eg 3000+) will drop by an average of 1 bounty per second once they get so high, until they drop back to the 3k figure, then the reductions start slowing down and slowing down as your bounty drops further.

Resting/waiting will not lower your bounties at super-quick rate - the bounties only drop as real-time progresses while the game is active, so no cheating possible here.

Detailed Figures:
===========
Here are the current figures for the bounty reduction rates;
Initial timer: 2 minutes for any bounty below 2500, and other timers depending on version of mod used (standard, unforgiving, most wanted).

Bounties over 3000: -1 bounty per second.
Bounties over 1000: -1 bounty per 2 seconds.
Bounties over 700: -1 bounty per 4 seconds.
Bounties over 500: -1 bounty per 6 seconds.
Bounties over 300: -1 bounty per 8 seconds.
Bounties over 150: -1 bounty per 14 seconds.
Bounties over 100: -1 bounty per 24 seconds.
Bounties over 30: -1 bounty per 44 seconds.
Bounties equal to or lower than 30: -1 bounty per 60 seconds.

So if you start with a bounty of 3010, then after the initial 1 hour timer is up, your bounty will drop by 1 every second (in actuality, it drops by 2 every 2 seconds), until it hits 3000. Once it hits 3000, it will drop by 1 every 2 seconds, until it hits 1000. At 1000, it will drop by 1 every 4 seconds until 700... etc. etc. Note that this only applies to the standard and unforgiving versions - the most wanted version will freeze any bounty over 3000.

Installation:
