Mail me with any bugs, suggestions, questions or comments - <arkenor><br><br>History<br>==========<br><br>Version 0.6 A compatability release, to prevent any future conflicts with other mods. Note that this may not be compatable with save games from previous versions, so I'll keep including version 0.5 in the archive for a while.<br><br>Version 0.5 Little Guy versions of the Argonians and Khajiit.<br><br>Version 0.4 A little guy version of the Dremora, the Dremi. A little bit more suitable for more subtle approaches than their larger kin, though just barely.<br><br>Version 0.3 The (harmless but niggling) issue of being mistaken for an Imperial is removed. Valen might take a little longer than usual to tell you that the guards are coming, but he will, never fear. I also ticked the box to make Dremora playable, and made the necessary dialogue changes to allow them to be played from the start without problems. Note that Dremora are rather less well balanced than my own creations. I thought it best to not alter their abilities at this time.<br><span class="wbbtab"></span><br>Version 0.2 Made the dwarves a bit wider, and quadrupled the duration of both races Ultravision. <br><span class="wbbtab"></span><br>Version 0.1: 29 March 2006<br><span class="wbbtab"></span><span class="wbbtab"></span>- Sort of general poke at making some new races without new models.<br><br><br>What does it do?<br>================<br><br>This mod adds Argoni, Khajii, Dremi, Gnomes and Dwarves (and as a bonus, Dremora) as playable races. Needless to say, this isn't very canon, but some folks love playing those little guys. So I've tweaked some stuff, given them vaguely appropriate abilities, and set them loose. Keep in mind that I got them by squeezing and stretching existing race models. If you want to get much closer to your idea of how gnome or dwarf looks, you'll have to wait until someone creates new models for them.<br><br><br><br>Installation<br>============<br>Unzip the .esp file to your "Oblivion\Data" directory<br><br>If you use Winzip or a similar program, you can extract the zip files into the "Oblivion\Data" directory with the "Folders" checkbox checked. All of the files should go into their proper places.<br><br>Enable the following plugins using the Oblivion Launcher:<br><br> Ark's Little Guys.esp<br><br><br>Known Issues<br><br>Valen, the chap who taunts you in prison will take a little longer than usual to tell you that the guards are coming (Or it'll seem that way. He's going through a full dialogue, but you're only going to hear his final statement, as it does not mention race).<br><br>Reports are that the Dremora race I unlocked can cause crashes so avoid that. The original little guy races I made are more fun anyway! Just don't blame me if you can't reach the cookie jar!<br><br>Hopefully, there's nothing else in the game that's totally race dependent like that. If there is, you might have issues.
