NOTE: There are currently random problems with marks placed outdoors. Depending on the location, outdoor marks may quit working after a game reload, especially marks in cells other than the one you were in when you saved. Some are reliable, some aren't; no pattern has yet been determined. Marks placed indoors (houses, shops, dungeons, caves, forts, etc.) seem to be reliable, so stick with those for now.
