This mod improves all 13 original birthsigns with constant effects, lesser powers, and greater powers, attempting to vastly improve a somewhat lack-luster aspect of the game.

Description:
This is the first part of my mod to redesign the birthsigns in Oblivion.


Here are the general ideas of the mod:

All birthsigns have some kind of constant effect, lesser power, and greater power.
All lesser powers cost 50 Magicka or less
All greater powers can be cast when silenced and ignore spell reflect and absorb.
No script effects will be used to prevent bad scripts and various problems.

Birthsigns are character-concept based, NOT lore based. When you pick the Atronach, for example, in the lore it doesn't say that people born with the Atronach resist elements. But when I pick the Atronach, I want my character to have an atronach's abilities, so I gave that birthsign a resist elements lesser power. I also used ideas from many different sources. I of course stuck with the basic idea of the standard birthsigns, but I used ideas from Morrowind and from other birthsign mods on the internet.

I have added a "Reduced" version in the file list. I weakened many of the powers and abilities or slightly increased cost or reduced duration. This is for those who think the original is too strong or unbalancing. However, I still recommend the original.

Installation:
Unzip the file into your Oblivion Data Directory. It should be here:

Program Files/Bethesda Softworks/Oblivion/Data

When you start the game, go to Data Files and activate the mod.
Note that Oblivion will not check to see if the Birthsigns have changed. If you use this on an existing character, you must hit the tilde ` button above the Tab button to open the console menu and enter "ShowBirthsignMenu" without quotes to change the sign.


Conflicts: This will conflict with any other mod that changes the original 13 birthsigns.


Use: I don't really care if you use this mod for your own projects. Just be sure to give me credit if you use my material for your own mods.

Version Information:

1.1 - Atronach Greater power "Arcane Regeneration" removed.
Warrior Lesser Power "Steadfast" Fatigue restore reduced from 100 to 50.
warrior Greater Power "Battle Cry" Health and Fatigue fortification reduced from 200 to 100.
Mage Lesser Power "Meditate" Magicka restoration reduced from 5 points per second to 3 points per second.
Ritual Greater Power "Mara's Gift" restore health reduced from 500 point to 300 points.
Theif lesser power "Thief's Eye" Magicka cost increased from 20 to 30.
Shadow Ability "mooncalf" Agility bonus raised from 10 to 15.
Shadow Greater Power "Moonshadow" added Drain Speed 20 points for 60 seconds.
Lady Greater Power "Lady's Warden" added.

There is some terms you should know that I use:

1. For the duration, if I put "Duration 0", it means the effect is instant.
2. When I describe the target I will sometimes say "Wave". This is an area effect
touch spell that does not require a target to explode.
