Needs a way to auto-deactivate in home cells.
CTD when using it due to it autoharvesting in my home

For the people who use this mod and don't like the loud "BZZZZZZZ" sound...

    1. Open Oblivion - Sounds.bsa
    2. Extract the wav file named "itm_ingredient_up.wav"
    3. Bring the wav file into something like Audacity and turn the volume of the wav down to Zero
    4. Save the wav file with the same name and format as the original 44.1Khz, MONO, 16bit
    5. In your Oblivion DATA directory, make a directory structure like this Sound\fx\itm\  So that you end up with Data\Sound\fx\itm\
    6. Put the itm_ingredient_up.wav file in the Data\Sound\fx\itm directory.

    Enjoy the silence.
BTW, this also heavily reduces any lag, or freeze ups that the BZZZZ introduced, because now it's silent.

      Thanks for explaination.
I tried to do it, but didn't succeed.
Could you make a mod with this file ?

The good news is that this mod does it's job and it does it much better than the other mods available.

The downside is that every time you harvest anything, a loud "BZZZZZT" sound effect booms over every other sound in the game, and with how fantastically effective this mod is, you will be harvesting things a lot.

"Why would someone add this to such a near-perfect mod?" You may be asking. My theory is that it's a way to punish those of us who attempt to rely on cheats mechanics. Lesson learned, I immediately uninstalled it and chose to continue down a less-cheaty path.

I traveled back in time all the way from 2023 to tell you that the loud BZZZZT was NOT added by the Modder. The loud BZZZZZT is the sound of hundreds of plants being Harvested at once. It's the default Play Harvest Sound, in rapid succession because the mod is picking the plants so fast.
If it bothers you, download and install the mod that replaces the plant picking sound with Silence.

Thanks of the awesome mod!  It's probably a long shot, but is there any way to add an exception for certain flora?  I'm trying to use your mod with Nehrim and after changing the Master, almost everything sees to be working.  The only issue I'm having is that Nehrim includes a few flora items that are special (ie. Ice Claws and Fire Sparks).  If I use the harvest spell in the same area twice it will continue to harvest that item even though it is not there anymore.

EDIT: Nevermind, I just saw the post below by ToxicFrog.  I've changed the script and it appears to be working correctly now. Thanks ToxicFrog!

You're a frickin' hero, for real. I've never had so many wisp stalk caps in my life. Now I can enjoy the game, and still level alchemy! Absolutely one of my essential mods from now on.

    Perfect, thanks!
If anyone knows of a way to quiet the sound of harvest, that would make this even better.

Installed the mod and got the spells as per the instructions of the included readme and used the menu to configure the mod to use the most conservative of settings.

I've been using DonProtein's Modded Oblivion and had it running rock solid with often 8 hour sessions without a single CTD. After installing this mod my build repeatedly CTD and worse yet, corrupted my saved games on the character that I had nearly 80 hours of play in even with a clean save after uninstalling. I couldn't play for more than 5 minutes after load without that character experiencing either a CTD or a freeze so bad that only flipping the power switch would release the rig. Started up a new char without this mod and back to stable play, so if anyone else is using DonProtein's and Bevilax's mod list, (my experience at least) DZ's is utterly incompatible with that build list.

The problem of the disappearing spells appears to be caused by having "PC start spell" checked in the spell entry, and opening the class menu in game. After you are done setting your class, the game checks to see if you meet the prerequisites. Since you don't, the spells are removed.

This can be easily fixed by simply unchecking PC start spell. Since the spells are added by script anyway, it is unnecessary and does nothing but make the spells disappear.

Thank you for this suggestion. I was having a problem with the 4 DZ Auto Harvest spells disappearing using the Alternative Beginnings mod. After picking a class, the spells would disappear. Opening up TES4Edit and unchecking the "player start spell" flag from all 4 DZ spells solved the issue. Again, thanks.
