1. DESCRIPTION
===============

NOTE: Many Of These Poisons ... Kill... Do not use on npcs you wish to live and then save the game.

This mod adds several Poisons designed to make the usage of Poisons in Oblivion a much more fun and detailed utility. You can find the spells by first finding Namira's Minion, who hangs around the Imperial Docks.

This mod does not change any global variables and as such should be highly compatible with most other mods.

Namira's Minion ONLY SELLS during the night. (8pm till 6am) and receives a new shipment every three days.

Deadly Poisons:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Arsenic:
Causes Multi-System failure, leading to a painful death as the very cells of life explode within the poisoned.

Cantharide:
When tainted by Catharide, You feel as if your whole body is boiling. Blisters the size of small coins well up.
Most killed by this poison die smiling...

Cyanide:
Blue in color, This poison inhibits the body's ability to produce energy, causing failure of the respiration and nervous systems.

Hellebore:
Slows the heart of the poisoned, Weakening their skills and strength until finally they collapse causing death from cardiac arrest.

Hemlock:
Disrupts the signals of the nervous system, Paralyzing all muscles, including those of the lungs, resulting in death due to lack of oxygen to the heart and brain.

Deadly Nightshade:
A high concentration of this injected directly into the bloodstream causes a coma, followed by death due to it's effects on the mind.



Non-Lethal Poisons
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Daedra's Essence:
The combination of Ingredients from Daedra Heart, Silk, and Venin. liquidfied into a potent mixture that destroy's the body and mind of the poisoned.

Soul Conduit:
Dangerously opens the soul's channel, reducing the body's resistance to magical properties.

Current Halt:
Shuts shut the soul's channel, ceasing and slowly destroying all ability to generate magic.


Actor State Poisons
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Madness Venom:
Extracted from the eggs of insects from the realm of Sheogorath. Contact with this mixture temporarily destroys the mind, causing loss of ability to distinguish friend or foe.

Frenzied Poison:
The result of compressing the magical properties of the spell "frenzy" into a substance. As a result this is a much more potent form of frenzy than most spells used by magi.

Tripping Poison:
Upon contact, This Mixture targets the muscles of the legs, causing them to instantly freeze up for a second. Effects are extremely temporary.

Sleeping Poison:
Causes the target to lose consciousness for a short while.

Vampire's Blood Poison:
Extracted From the veins of Vampire Patriarchs, this poison will give it's victim the symptoms of a vampire for a short while.

Vampire's Blood Potion:
Drinking this will give non-vampires the temporary effects of a Vampire. Beware of sunlight.

Elemental Poisons
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Burn Blood:
Forces the elemental properties of fire into the bloodstream of it's victim. causing their entire being to ignite, instantly burning away all clothing and armor.

Freeze Blood:
Forces the elemental Properties of Ice into the bloodstream of the victim, causing Their muscles to react slowly.

Electrify Blood:
Forces the elemental Properties of Electricity into the bloodstream of the victim, causing them to short.

2. Requirements

Oblivion v1.0.228 original release or higher
Created using Oblivion Script Extender v0014a, however may be backwards compatible. A version of OBSe IS required however.

3. INSTALLING THE PLUGIN

Place plugin file into the data folder of Oblivion directory.

5. SAVE GAMES
===============

Seems to work properly without starting a new game.

- If you decide to fight Namira's Minion for some reason, do not save after he stabs you with a deadly poison...
