This mod tweaks all horses and allows you to use AlienSlof's horses with other mods or overhauls and official Bethesda add-on plugins.



Details
=======
This mod makes AlienSlof's Horses compatible with Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul, FCOM and the official Bethesda add-on plugins. It is also compatible with Horse Armor Revamped mod. There is an optional "Vanilla" plugin if you just want to apply my tweaks to AlienSlof's Horses Base version two.


Some of the features include:
- New horse loot.
- Improved imperial horses are more diverse and more robust.
- Imperial horses match each region's breeds.

If you have the official DLCHorseArmor plugin:
- New heavy armor sounds for all armored horses.
- Unique imperial horse armors in all Legion's horses.
- Find White imperial horses near Anvil, Chestnut near Chorrol, Black near Cheydinhal, Paint near Leyawiin and many more throughout Tamriel!

Compatible with other mods:
- This mod needs to be placed late in your load order.
This means it supports optional plugins to make other mods work toghether in your game.


OBMM Install
============
1. Copy OMOD file to (install folder)\Oblivion\obmm\omod\
2. Start Oblivion Mod Manager.
3. Double-click the name of the mod in the right-hand side of the OBMM screen.
(icon should turn blue)


Notes
-----------------------------
The scripted installation automates the choice of plugins to install (due to a request from a user of this mod).
This means that if it finds Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul installed, it will automaticaly install the respective compatible version of the "Ulrim's Horses.esp" plugin.
The same aplies to the official DLCHorseArmor plugin, official KOTN expansion and Horse Armor Revamped mod.
The only exception is if it finds both DLCHorseArmor and Horse Armor Revamped installed. In this case, the installation script will ask you which compatibility version of this mod you would like to use.
(Compatibility with these mods and Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul is already handled for you too.)
Support for KOTN is provided in the form of an independent patch which must be loaded after Knights.esp.


Uninstall
=========
1. Start Oblivion Mod Manager.
2. Double-click the name of the mod in the right-hand side of the OBMM screen,
click Yes. (icon should turn green)


Upgrade
=======
1. Uninstall the old mod.
2. Install the new mod.
3. Start oblivion and play. There is no effect on saved games and cannot
corrupt any saves.

- Qarl's Harvest (use Qarls_Harvest.esm and Qarls_Harvest.esp - you can feed your owned horses only).
- MD Saddle Bags 3.0 - you can buy saddle bags too!


Known Issues or Bugs
====================
Oblivion Mod Manager (OBMM) version 1.1.9 or later is required to run the installation script successfuly.
This mod does not include AlienSlof's textures.

The reason because I removed Qarl's Harvest support for all non-playable horses is because I have experienced some animation issues with NPCs mounting the horses. In the next update, I am considering removing the individual scripts and introduce a similar feature, affecting only the interaction between the player character and any other horses.

AlienSlof has done many improvements after the release of Ulrim's Horses mod. Introduced in version two of her mod, there are now new unique bridles, saddle bags and reins for your horses. However, I have made changes to show some default textures (reverted to default bridles and removed sadle bags). This is because of compatibility with MD Saddle Bags 3.0. You can buy saddle bags and equip them on your horse if you use that mod.
I kept the previous version of Slof's Horses eyes bundled in this mod. The new eye textures (in Slof's Horses Base 2) have a glow that sometimes make them look too white. I also kept the previous version of rein textures. For now, if you would like to see the default textures from Slof's Horses Base 2, you have to open the construction set and change the models.
Player horses are not marked essential!

Notes

The plugin Ulrim's Horses.esp is created duing the scripted OMOD install.
If you want to manualy unpack the OMOD, you will find the original pugins inside the plugins folder. They are named according to the version that is compatible with the respective supported mods.
