City-Rogue's Lair (IALair)
a rogue's house/base of operations mod
by Iapetus [Arcana]
version 1.2 04/10/2008

Have you ever lamented that the only place you can
stow your ill-gotten loot in the Imperial City was some
crappy little shack?
No?
Liar. You know you have.
Well, whether you will admit it or not, this is the answer
to your problems. The City-rogue's lair. Located in the
scenic Elven Gardens district, hidden from the prying
eyes of the city watch and rival buglars. Accessable both
above the streets and below, it is a secure lair close to the great amount of valuables up for grabs in the province's
largest city.

Requirements
==============
- Oblivion v1.2.0416
- JOG's Thievery in the Imperial City
- Common Oblivion (COBL)

Reccomended Mods
===================
- Lynge's Thieve's Highway

Bugs and/or Conflicts
=========================
None that I know of.
However, I am relying on comments from people who
actually use this mod, unlike myself.

Installation
============
1. Download the 7z file.
2. Extract i the 7z file onto your desktop, or wherever it
is that you extract them. I don't care.
3. Slap the esp into your \Oblivion\Data\ folder.
4. Activate the mod.
5. Play the game.

Starting the Mod
================
Head over to Chorrol and listen to the rumors about the
Oak and Crosier's basement and the shady going-ons
therein.
YOU WILL NOT RECIEVE ANY JOURNAL ENTRIES. NO HELP FROM THE COMPASS.
NOTHING.
YOUR'E ON YOUR OWN, SUCKER.

By the Nine, it's a list of the rooms:
=============================
Private Quarters (Top)
---------------------------
- A small area suitable for preparing food.
- Another small area fit for eating said foods.
- Some storage.
- A bed. Did I really need to specify that the private

quarters has a bed?
- A hidden area, containing a hatch to the roofs, a painting/safe and various containers.

Main Room (Middle)
-------------------------
- A library (it's just some bookshelves, don't get too excited.)
- Some display cases.
- More storage.
- The Luggage. It's from Cobl, and it is super-cool.

Cellar (Bottom)
--------------------
- Even more storage.
- A bit o' training.
- A worktable. Yes, a friggen' table counts as a major feature.
- Another secretive area, with some more storage and an enchanted robe. (More on the robe later)

The Items
==========
Shadow's Shroud (Robe)
-------------------------------
- Fortify Sneak 20, Agility 10. Your thief will be better than ever.
- Adds the Greater Power of Shadow Walking, which fortifies your speed by 20 points, and causes you to become invisible, both for 60 seconds. Perfect for getting the hell away from a sticky situation.

Bead of Moonlight (Pearl)
--------------------------------
- Adds the Lesser Power of Moonsight, which you can use to see in the dark (Nighteye), and Detect Life up to 100 feet, both for 30 seconds, all of which uses a paltry 27 magicka. Not only will you be able to find items, you can see the owner coming.

Shadow Tooth (Dagger)
-----------------------------
- Every time you strike an enemy, you will Paralyze them for 5 seconds. Not long, but enough for you to use a potion of Invisibility.
- Adds the Greater Power that allows you to Open a very hard lock once a day. If you need to get out, but your way is blocked by some joker's attempt at security, have at it. Those suckers can't keep you in here. Who the hell do they think they are?

Editor's Notes
==============
- The place is sparsely furnished. No books laying around, no massive piles of food waiting for your greedy gullet.
- The scripting for the items adding spells is pretty standard work, but if you know how to make an item add a spell at a certain time, drop me several lines in quick succession.
- The items are previews from my upcoming mod to add similar items to Oblivion. Awesome items, some with backstory!

Upcoming Additions, Away!
=========================
- Better placement of furniture.
- Unique potions and/or poisons.
- More stuff from COBL.
- Different meshes/textures for the dagger.
- Expanded areas.

- Crappily done scripting.

- The Luggage is awe inspiring.

Bethesda - This should be pretty damned obvious.
