I actually don't recommend to use this mod anymore. It's discontinued and in my opinion there are better Arcane University mods like Reapers_arcane_University V_4 here on Tesnexus.

He actually used some ideas from my mod (as my mod was here first and they show a lot of similarities... just take a look at the images.) Judging by that I'm 99% sure :P.

And I have a newer -redone from scratch- overhaul for the Arcane University, it's still in development, not sure if I'm going to release it though.. As it is not done.

Update version 0.7:

Optimized a lot of stones, added some new light and updated the Council Chamber. Also changes and added things to the buildings.

Changes >>> Entrace, Updated Pathgrids and added some new ones, changes some trees, removes some unnecasary stones and added some work in progress (go see for yourself INSIDE the Arcane University).

FAQ

- Is there a FPS hit?

This will hit your FPS, just try if the FPS hit is acceptable for you.

- Where should I place this in my load-order?

Take a look at http://devnull.devakm.googlepages.com/loadorder

Basically it's after mods like Natural Environments en AWS and the Unofficial Patch and before all things that change gameplay like OOO but also the smaller gameplay mods.
Try to place it is high possible to prevent possible conflicts.

Load-order with Origin of the Mages Guild:

Oblivion.esm
Arcane University Addon.esp
Origin of the Mages Guild.esp

It doesn't really matter if there are other esp files between those mods, but that order should stay the same.

Also you can remove blocking object by opening the console en type ''disable'' without the quotes.

You don't have to use the constuction set to remove the tower that is blocking the garden en some doors.

Installation:

1 - Place the esp file in "X":\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data.

"X" = Depends on which drive you installed oblivion, in most cases this will be C: .

2 - Activate it in the start-up menu of Oblivion by going to the "Data Files" and check Arcane University Addon.esp.
You also can activate it in the Mod Manager.

Compatibility:

- This IS compatible with Midas Magic. I left the spaces where the shops should be untouched.

- This IS compatible with Origin of the Mages Guild BUT you must load the Arcane University esp before the one of Origin of the Mages Guild to prevent floating object and a partially blocked door (source byou). But when you do this the changes of AUA won't be visible (except some roots that hang out of the roof).

- This also IS compatible with the official plugin the Orrery. The exterior building won't be there. This might be slightly unrealistic. But the Orrery itself should be there as normal.

- Most mod that overhaul or revamp the Arcane University will NOT be compatible. For example mods like Arcane University 300.
