About this mod

Adds a more \'evil\' texture to the Cheydinhal Gaurd Cuirass

Permissions and credits
Daedril Cuirass v0.91 By 7th Keeper

Description:

This is a retexture of the Cheydinhal Guard Cuirass for both male and female.
There are two Cuirass's for you to choose from, a pre-enchanted version and a
non-enchanted version. Both are included in the ESP file. You can find the
armor in Fort Magia which is east of the Imperial City along the outer shore
of Lake Rumare. The different armors are found in seperate spots in the fort.
You only need to get to the end of the first interior to get the non-enchanted
version, but you need to go through the entire fort for the pre-enchanted
version (on the 'through' side of the 'one-way-through' Iron Gate in the first
interior)

Here are the stats of the armor:

Physical:Enchantment:

Type: LightDamage Magicka 5 pts on self
Wheight: 14Fortify Willpower 5 pts on self
Health: 550Fortify Intelligence 5 pts on self
AR: 13Fortify Conjuration 5 pts on self
Value: 125Fortify Destruction 5 pts on self
Fortify Magicka 30 pts on self
Spell Absorption 20% on self

Constant Effect

Value With Enchantment:13125

As you can probably see, the enchantment is focused around spellcasters. Also,
I tried my hardest to balance it out. I will gladly take comments on how I can
better balance this mod

The 'Damage Magicka' effect will probably cause your magicka to decay depending
on your willpower, though if you have exceptionaly high willpower, you may have
a slow regeneration. This effect is balanced with the high 'Spell Absorption'
and moderate 'Fortify Magicka' effects. The 'Attribute and Skill Fortifications'
help promote more 'Daedra-Like' spell casting (The cuirass just makes me think
of all things Daedra).

The weight might be a little high for light armor, I don't really know, but it's
essentially daedric chainmail/leather (CHAINMAIL/LEATHER!!) so I put it as light
armor.

NOTE: The models used are vanilla oblivion models and thus may cause clipping
with body model mods such as Exnem's EC.

NOTE2: In the screenshots you'll notice some bad clipping around the but on the
female. This is because I was using Exnem's EC body mod at the time (thus why it
is used as an example above). This should not happen if you are using the vanilla
body.

NOTE3: The world model (the model that appears when you drop the cuirass)
definitely needs to have it's UV Map changed. I didn't bother to change it because
I figured most people would keep the cuirass in their inventory or just shove it
into a chest (or sell it) rather than having it hanging around in the world lying
on the floor, a table, a bed, etc.. Until I proplerly texture this (which I
Probably won't do unless people ask me to) this file will be marked as v0.9X.

Installation:

Just unzip to your data folder.

If you can't do that, move each file individually preserving the folder paths
then just tick the esp in the launcher menu like almost all other mods.

Credits:

well, I made the texture, but not withought the great help of the CS wiki Tutorials!
so thanks to all those who write and edit those!

The models are, as stated above, Vanilla Oblivion models created by Bethesda, So
Thank you Bethesda for all your hard work that has been going down the drain for a
while now...

Curses:

Curse you Bethesda for making the Male cuirass so hard to retexture!! I not only had
to create a seperate texture for the male, but I had to edit the Male's UV Map which
came with some greatly confusing moments!!

Permissions:
Go ahead and redistribute as you please as long as the files stay exactly the same,
otherwise, ask me first.

Change Log:
v0.9 - Initial Release

v0.91 - Changed Spell absorption to 20% -- Timmi(TESNexus) suggested 15%, but I remain
biased by 'The Atronauch (SP?)' Birthsign, so I increased his thought by 5, Still Thank
you Timmi (v0.9 with 75% Spell Absorption will still be downloadable)
