About this mod

Removes many delays to get the next stage of a quest, so you are not force to pretend to sleep or break the feeling of quest flow by trying to find some other quest to do.

Release: 1-30-2008

What this mod does:
This is a "Work in Progress", ever been short on time or just in the mood to play one questline at a time, but really hate having to pretend to sleep in a GAME, for days at a time (becasue it breaks the gameflow and feeling) just so you can get to the next stage in the quest?

Then maybe this mod is for you, it removes most MAJOR (24 hour-plus) delays to get the next stage of a quest, so you are not force to pretend to sleep or break the feeling of quest flow by trying to find some other quest to do. This does not remove every single delay but was started based on my personal gameplay style and progression, so you can look at the list of fixes to see if this suits your needs/wants.

I would consider changing others if there are requests, though I will be some what limited by my newbish skills. :)

Version 1.1

1. Removed 24 hour wait time to access Francois Motierre at the Chorrol Chapel Undercroft, during the Dark Brotherhood quest, The Assassinated Man.

2. Reduced the 21 day (damn that's long with slowed ftimescale :p ) wait to 7 days to get the Reward Painting, if you choose to help Chanel on the Chorrol quest, Canvas the Castle.

3. Heh, not sure how to explain this one, during Paranoia there are basically 3 stages, each requiring you to wait 24 hours to get the next assignment at the very least (unless you refuse his request for help which kills the quest for you then and there) and even longer if you carry out his final requests. So what I did was make it so those 24 hour periods not exist anymore, allowing you to get an assignment go interview, follow or whatever.
Ok here is the sort of tricky part once you return to report to him (even immediately) he will start heading to the meeting point no matter what time of day. As an example I had picked the lock on his house, when entering, this seem to activate him and he proceeded to go to the meeting spot where I got my next assignment, rinse and repeat. :)

Version: 1.0 Release:
At time of release, I have completed Thieves, Mages and Fighters questlines. I am proceeding to Dark Brotherhood, Miscellaneous Quest, KotN and SI.

1. Removed all time limits on the trainers, so if you can get to a trainer you can get trained.

2. The Thieves Guild, questline you no longer have to wait 24 hours for the Stranger to complete the forgery, just reinitiate dialog.

3. Mage Guild Chorrol Recommendation, you no longer have to wait 24 hours for Earana to complete her research, just reinitiate dialog.

4. Mage Guild, making a staff you no longer have to wait 24 hours for Delmar to make your staff, just reinitiate dialog.

5. Mage Guild, you no longer need to wait 24 hours to speak to Merator again to get meeting with Count hassildor, he forces dialog immediately after sending you away.

6. Mage Guild, you no longer need to wait 3 days to get the quest "A Plot Revealed" from Traven, just reinitiate dialog.

7. Mage Guild, you no longer need to wait 3 days to get the quests "Bloodworm Helm" and "Necromancers Amulet, just reinitiate dialog.

8. Fighters Guild, Maglir is now correctly removed from the Fighters Guild during FGD04 Stage 30, so you can kill him during "The Hyst" and not be kicked out of the Fighters Guild. :)

9. Umbacano, no longer needs 3 days to meet you at Nenalata, as he should leave immediately, though he still takes about 12 hours to get there as he has no horse, afaik.

10. Master Alteration Training from Tooth in Sea no longer takes 3 game hours underwater, it was too boring when you have your fTimerscale slowed and everyone probably has a Water Breathing item at this point. Iirc he reinitiates dialog in about 5 game minutes now.

Installation:
The .esp file goes in the Data Directory and is activated in the Menu Data files.

Uninstallation:
The .esp comes out of the Data Directory.

Upgrading
I would not try to upgrade during one of the quests this changes, if you are inbetween all of the quests affected then disable this .esp, enter the game make a save, quit, activate the newer version and play the game.

Bugs:
None really I know of, I had a bit of a problem trying to get S'krivva to start her quests the first time you meet her, if her door was locked but I couldn't get it to work and moved on.

Legally you owe me a tequila shot if you use this, with or without asking permission. :)
