Details
=======
First of all this is the first real mod I've ever made (for any game ever. o_O), so if parts of this mod suck, you'll know why. :P

This mod adds several spells, related to creating duplicates. A spell to mark what NPC you want to make a duplicate of. A spell to actually make the duplicate. (The purpose of making a separate spell for this, is so you can make the duplicate in a completely separate place at any time after you have marked the NPC.) There is a separate spell for creating a duplicate of your self. And there is a spell to destroy any duplicate you make.

Version b lets you save more that one NPC at a time for duplication by adding several "Save NPC/Create Duplicate" pairs to your spellbook.

I've tried to make it so you can make a duplicate of any NPC, including your enemies (like bandits and Mythic Dawn guys) and dead NPCs. Do whatever you want with these duplicates, because they are suppose to be completely separate from the originals, (make them companions or torture them in one of the torture prison mods if you like.) so it shouldn't matter if you make a duplicate of an important character and it dies or something like that. I've given the duplicates really good equipment (in case you are unable to exchange the equipment using "Companion Share and Recruit"), and they use a pretty simple "Follow" AI, so the basics of an companion are there.

I would recommend using the "Companion Share and Recruit" Mod if you want the duplicates to be companions. My mod should help you use unnamed NPCs as companions because you can just create a new copy of the NPC if it disappears or has a hard time traveling where you want to go. A word of warning though, I'm not sure how permanent the duplicates are. You might not want to give your duplicates any inventory items you aren't willing to lose forever. :\

Install
=======
1. Copy the .esp file to (install folder)\Oblivion\Data\
2. Start Oblivion Launcher, click 'Data Files', place a checkmark beside the .esp file(s).

Uninstall
=========
1. Start Oblivion Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the .esp file(s).
2. Delete the .esp file from \Oblivion\Data\

Upgrade
=======
I recommend this procedure for upgrading from the previous version so that your "Duplicate Graveyard" is emptied and you can take full advantage of the bloat fix. (Hopefully this version prevents the mod from bloating your save game.)

1. Start Oblivion Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the .esp file(s) for the old version.
2. Play Oblivion and load your saved game.
3. Save your game with the mod disabled. Then exit Oblivion.
4. Start Oblivion Launcher, click 'Data Files', place a checkmark beside the .esp file(s) for the new version.

History
=======
0.0.1, 2007/12/03 - Initial release.

0.0.2, 2008/02/20 - This update should fix any save game bloating caused by this mod. I've tried to add Persuasion and Rumors to all duplicates made. Also as of this version I've done away with the multiple versions of the mod. This is the version with the 5 "Save Form/Create Duplicate" pairs.

Known Issues or Bugs
====================
I've tried to make it so if you attact/kill duplicates you will not get kicked out of your guilds if the duplicate is of a person that was part of a guild. If your Player Character is part of the Thieves Guild and you attack a duplicate of yourself you will most likely get kicked out of the Thieves Guild. I can't figure out how to stop this.

As far as I can tell the duplicates will fast travel with you if you use fast travel, but this will sometimes cause the duplicate to get that weird double face bug. Just save your game, exit to the main menu, and then reload the game to fix this.

You may have some dialog weirdness (Like duplicates with no greeting or no dialog topics) when using duplicates in Shivering Isles.

The default companion scripting is very simple in this mod so I recommend using "Companion Share and Recruit" if you really want the duplicates to be your companions.

I'm Top Floor on PES, TESNexus, and the official Oblivion forums. (although it's one word on TESNexus) You can contact me on the official forums thread or the comments section of the mod on PES and TESNexus if you have problems.

I'd like to ask you for your help.

Actually one of the reasons I'm releasing this mod is that I'm hoping that some of you more experienced mod makers can help me improve the mod. So I'm hoping some of you can look over the mod and help me get the functionality and effects that I want. I've tried to put a bunch of comments in the mod's scripts to explain myself and what I thought I was doing.

--Also could someone help me on my Thieves Guild problem? Is the player character part of some hidden Thieves Guild faction or something? Note that I've only tested this with games where the Thieves Guild questline is completed.
