Create Grand Soul Gems by transmuting your weaker ones! Soul Gems of any type are createable (except Black) and Soul Gems of any type may be used (except Black).

What is the Soul Gem Converter (Phasma-Calculi)?
This useful altar will allow you to make your own soul gems by combining your weaker ones--without breaking your immersion. You will be able to upgrade any type of gem from any type of gem, i.e. Petty-to-Grand, if you have enough of the weaker gem. Each soul gem can be combined at the altar in pairs to form the next most powerful soul gem in succession (more on this in Section 7). This mod relies on the strength of scripting (kind of long scripting), not on object placement and manipulation. Because of this fact, if you uninstall this mod, you won't lose anything you created with it.
Where is the Soul Gem Converter?
The altar is located within the upper level of the Chironasium, in the Arcane University. This means you must have access to use it, as with any other altar.
What can't the Soul Gem Converter do?
The altar cannot break down soul gems into lesser strength versions. The altar cannot make use of gems that have a soul trapped within. The alter DOES have an option to create "Black Soul Gems" but considering it is located within the Arcane University, it is recommended you not use that. You will get in trouble. The altar is not transportable. The altar will not bake you pie.
Permissions/Restrictions
Please contact me for permission regarding use of this mod in part or entirety if you wish to use it in another mod. This includes the scripting! If you contact me, I'll say yes, but credits are appreciated.
