This mod is a replacement for the Akiviri Imports v1.1 mod whi which adds a full set of Japanese style swords and off hand versions. See the original readme included for a full description. Intended for use with MOBS balancing mods, such as Francesco's.

This mod rebalances the original weapon profiles to fit within the MOBS weapon balance system. Typically, the weights for weapons are reduced and there is more diversity in weapon length and speed. In general, the ranking for bladed weapons including the vanilla game weapons in terms of damage is as follows:

Dai-Katana (renamed correctly to Nodachi)
- Claymore
Ninjato
Katana
-Longsword
Kodachi
-Shortsword
Wakizashi
-dagger
Tanto

Installation
-------------------

1) Download and install version 1.1 of the Akiviri Imports mod.
2) Download and unzip this mod int your oblivion/data folder
3) In the plugin manager of your choice, ONLY use the "akiviri imports MOBS.esp"

If you were previously running Akiviri Imports, you'll need to do the following:

1) Prior to installig this version, load your game, collect any of the "old" akiviri weapons you have sitting around, including one's you've enchanted. Go to the akiviri import store and sell or drop everything in there. Leave the store and go somewhere else.
2) Quit the game, disable the old akiviri imports .esp and reload and save the game. Quit again . . .
3) enable ONLY the "akiviri imports MOBS.esp," relaunch the game and enjoy!

Weapon Descriptions
-------------------

Nodachi (formally Dai-Katana)
Two handed 'larger katana.' More powerful than claymore, does less damage per hit but strikes a bit faster.

Ninjato
Two handed straight bladed sword, approximately as long as a katana. Strikes faster than the Nodachi but does less damange. Slightly weaker than the claymore overall.

Katana
One-handed, generally stronger than the longswords

Kodaichi
Shortened katana like weapon, a little weaker than the longsword

Wakizashi
Shortsword, on par usually with existing shortswords, sometimes a little weaker.

Tanto
Weaker than the dagger, very short 'knife' like weapon.

Other Changes
-------------------

- Blackhand set has been improved. It is now placed slightly below glass in terms of damage, but it weights marginally more and has better durability.

- Off-hand weapons (i.e. shields) have the same weights as their weapon counterparts.

- Most of the Kodachi weapons (except glass, elven, darkhand) and a few of the heavier Wakizashi weapons (daedric, ebony. dwarven) have been moved to the heavy armor class.
