Enter the land of Megalomania, a place forgotten yet distant. Far from the reaches of Sheogorath, Megalomania is the domain of the Megalomaniacs – Master Builders who cannot stop building. Their unending quest of building monuments adds to their personal glory; or ambition. Yet, within the Old City there lies the Gem Thief Order, a solitary personage, bent on stealing the long sought after Mega Gems, which the Megalomaniacs crave as much as building. Join the Megalomaniacs and share their dream of monuments. Or join the Gem Thieves, escalating in rank until you become the Master Gem Thief, risking your safety several times in the process. You can build the New City behind the main gates, so have some gold in stock first. Buy Stock Certificates to support the New City. Summon wildlife using the Beast Scepter, kept hidden within the New City Castle. Visit its servants or speak with the Guards and other residents. Or admire the scenery of Megalomania. First you must find the Mage Portal found in the city of Bliss in New Sheoth, in East Shivering Isles. This transports you to the Village, the homes of the Megalomaniacs. At the Central Plaza (seen with the Torch and Statuary) you can find the Gem Thieves Base, in an Anvil style home. To the right is (unfinished) the main city and further along is the location for the Farms and main gates near the Lighthouse. Beyond the gates is New City (which is blank except for the Administration Office of Construction; similar to Morrowind’s Bloodmoon quest). There is an in-game Book of Hints/Cheats in case you need help (find one or buy one). The Gem Thief Master is also a Fence Merchant and can buy or sell stolen goods. In the Main Quest you can also build a 2nd Village and Castle, with other buildings planned.
