NVIDIA BLACK SCREEN SNEAK FIX (Automatic)

DESCRIPTION:
This little mod tries to fix the black screen problem some people with the latest Nvidia cards have.
This is different than the black screen fix from Quarn, because it tackles a different black screen bug.

What's addressed here is the black screen you get ONLY while sneaking in first person, in interiors with npcs present.

What the mod does is turn off Interior Shadows while your character is sneaking in first person view (with no weapon or shield or torch in use), so the black screen is no more.
Interior Shadows are reset to the value you've chosen in the game settings in all other situations, so you won't lose shadows when the black screen is not an issue.

Remember to set the shadows to your chosen value in the game settings before activating this mod.

REQUIREMENTS:
This mod needs OBSE v.10 or higher to work. There is absolutely no sane reason for a player of modded Oblivion not to use OBSE.

INSTALLATION:
Just copy the esp in the Oblivion\Data folder and activate it.

RESETTING THE MOD:
If you should ever decide to change the value of interior shadows via the slider in the game settings you can reset the mod by moving the slider, clicking return and, WHILE STILL IN THE SETTINGS MENU, typing the following in the console:

set ShadowReset to 0

This will let the mod know you've changed your chosen Interior Shadows value.

You must also reset the mod if you should ever change the key you use for blocking with your shield (the mod checks for blocks since when you block the bug is not there).

NVIDIA BLACK SCREEN TOGGLE FIX

by Deathless Aphrodite

DESCRIPTION:
Some people get the black screen in other situations than the one fixed by the above mod or Quarn's.

The black screens kick in only when you have interior shadows on, though.
So here's how it works:

When hitting "left shift + 3" you toggle interior shadows.

It works only in interiors so in exteriors the script will be weightless. If you forget to toggle the shadows back on before exiting an interior, they will be toggled back on automatically, so they will be on when you enter an interior again. Also, they will be toggled back on if there is a loading screen.

SALUTATIONS:
That's all folks.
