Intro
First things first forgive my poor english.
This is one of a few mods I'm working on, SNR stands for Shakh's NPCs Redone, a mod I've created a few months ago. This mod and the other SNR are NOT COMPATIBLE WITH "Shakh's NPCs Redone old version" though they do basically the same things (with updates and they cover SI and KOTN): customizing the NPCs of Oblivion. I thought that splitting the mod would allow you to pick what you want without downloading all the requirements needed for the complete SNR pack.

Content
Tamriel is the heart of the empire, these are dark times but people can’t stay locked in their cities, mercenaries have been hired by merchants to deliver the goods they need most, the citizens still fare between cities when they must but they make easy targets for bandits… or worse. The legion has sent additional soldiers to secure the roads but with deadra swarming over the Empire the few men that can be spared won’t make much difference. However renowned heroes have risen, they fare in the empire in search of glory. The legendary artifacts they possess will awake envy in every bandit’s heart but they will have to pay with many men’s lives before they take down those mighty heroes.

This is the SNR version of “Crowded Roads Revamped” by Maximius I tried to give more depth to this mod than there was in the original.
I’ve customized many adventurers and given them names (a big thanks to Tolkien). Those are very powerful and wear awesome equipment. They are level 100, so evil ones beware you’ll pay with your blood for their gear. Some adventurers are still random though and more easy to defeat. I’ve reinforced the existing legion patrols. I’ve made two class of travelers (they are all named “traveler” but you should tell them apart easily): commoners are the most frequently met and should not yield much money, rich citizens however offer quite tempting targets they have more gold than commoners and often wear expensive jewels. The citizens no longer wield heavy weapons but short swords or daggers, after all a peasant or even a rich merchant doesn’t have the money or training to use a war hammer! These travelers are still random but I’ve added bab clothes to the list of clothes they can wear (for women only).
The merchant’s suppliers are divided in alchemists, jewelers, magic, librarians and general store suppliers. They wear steel armors and random weapons, their employers expect trouble on the road so they hire mercenaries that can handle the bandits.

UFF Version is online!
Activate SNR Croaded Roads UFF.esp instead of the other .esp to play!

New in Version 2.1
Fixed path for the Noble set. It now appears properly in game.

New in Version 2
I have added Wood Elves travellers that I had completely forgotten.
Added "mysterious people", seemingly wealthy harmless travelers they are vampires in disguise, they are well fed but they will give you trouble if you try to attack them!
There are also smugglers working for the thieves of Tamriel, they carry rich bounty but you’ll be expelled if you are part of the guild and slay them.
You will also see murderers of the dark Brotherhood on duty.
Finally evil heroes, jealous of your reputation have been spotted, they will attack on sight, they are experienced adventurers so if you are only a novice, run for your life! The good heroes will help you get rid of these; they will fight them whenever they see them!
