Version 2.0 RC 1 (Requires Oblivion v1.2, OBSE v15, Pluggy v73, COBL v1.36)
================
This is an attempt to bring poisoning to life, add a bit of immersion to it, and make it easier to use. With this mod you'll be able to keep several poisons at your side and ready to use during Gameplay - that is, without going through the Inventory Menu and the "Do you want to poison your weapon?" dialogue.

Instead of opening your inventory/backpack for every poison, you will have a Poison Pouch. Think of this as a small pouch on your belt that you can reach into in the heat of battle. When you poison your weapon it will take 5 seconds for you to pull out the poison, open it safely, poison your weapon, and then put it back. If something disrupts the process, like moving, blocking, or being knocked unconscious, then you have a chance of losing the poison and even (slightly) poisoning yourself. If you safely put the poison back in the pouch, you can reuse it later (upto 5 times).

This isn't a fully featured release candidate - however, I wanted to see how people liked the Poisoning process and the new pouch usage. Also, it requires OBSE v15 which is currently a Beta. If you use any other 'hotkey' type mods, make sure they work with v15 before playing too far with this. While there may be changes in the final release, your poisons will always be safe. Finally, note that there isn't a "Known Oddities" section in the read-me. Instead, I mention the oddities as I explain the mod.

Version 1.1

Description
===========
Lets you cycle through and equip any poison with a single key-press: no more "Would you like to poison your weapon?", and you don't have to open your inventory each time. Just place any poison(s) you want to be able to use inside the provided pouch. Cycle through with '[' and ']', and poison your weapon with 'p' (you can change all of these).

Also, you can get more uses out of each poison. That is, 1 poison can be used 2 times, 5 times, etc. (set it up in Options)

======
Using
======
The Poison Pouch will be added to your inventory automatically when you start the game. Equip it to open it (either hotkey or in your inventory works). Place any poison(s) you want to be able to equip into the pouch. You can also access the options from here (Options details below), as well as 2 useful functions. Close the pouch, and you're ready to use the poisons.

There are 2 modes: Manual Mode (default) where the poison is set when you press the poison key, and Auto-Mode where the poison is automatically set whenever your weapon is drawn (Auto-Mode has 4 different styles, see below).

Manual Mode
-----------
(Default) Press 'p' to set the poison onto your weapon, '[' to cycle to the previous poison, and ']' for the next poison (both will return to the other end of the list). A message will pop up telling you which poison is currently equipped. It's set to only display the last poison equipped, but if you find the delay for the message too long or that there are too many messages, see the "Previous/Next Poison Message (and timing)" section in Options (under "Messages").

Auto-Mode
---------
Cycle through your poisons with '[' and ']' as with Manual Mode. There are 4 different styles in Auto-Mode that you can cycle through with the Poison key (default 'p'). These styles determine when a new poison will be applied to the weapon after the old poison is used (the enemy is struck with the poisoned weapon): Off - poisons won't be applied; Immediate - right after the strike; Close-Range - once the effects of the old poison have worn off; Ranged - 3 seconds before the old poisons's effects wear off. To use this mode, you'll need to choose it in the Options menu, where you'll also find more details and tips.

Options and other details in the readme.

=========================
Incompatibility
=========================
You can only use one edition of this mod - either the normal one or the Inventory Tracker edition.

When using mods that automatically apply poisons to weapons (i.e., Locational Damage) you need to set 'Add Poison' by opening the Options menu, selecting 'Replace/Add to already poisoned weapon", and select "Add". If you're using Auto-Mode, you may notice some oddities if you change weapons/poisons/etc. Most notably, any time you select a new poison it will be added to the stack of effects, rather than replace your old poison.

====================
Known Issues or Bugs
====================
The cycle and equip keys won't work if a menu is open and the game is paused (inventories, spell lists, options, etc.)

The order of the poisons is a bit weird - it's not the order you see it in when you open the menu, and it's not quite the order that you place the poisons into it. However, the order will always remain the same, even if you run out of a poison and then add more to the bag.

Don't place the Poison Pouch into itself...
If you need another Poison Pouch, open the console (default ~), enter, without quotes, "StartQuest PEInit", and press <enter>.<br><br>The pouch buttons will seem to disappear after you use them. They will return once you click on something else in the menu, or switch back and forth between the player's inventory and the pouch inventory. The "Add Poisons to Use" button will disappear once you click it, however...<br><br>In Auto-Mode and Replace/Add, if you change weapons and then poison, and then switch back to the weapon, you will have the wrong poison added back to your pouch. To avoid this, you can lower your weapon to un-apply the poison, then switch weapons.<br><br>The weight of the bag won't change (only visually?) until you close and re-open the player's inventory screen.<br><br>No icon for the 'Next' poison message, sorry.<br><br><br><br>=======<br>History<br>=======<br>v1.1 (09/07/2007)<br>-----------------<br>Added:<br><span class="wbbtab"></span>Now able to Add your poison to an existing poison (good for Locational Damage)<br><span class="wbbtab"></span>Auto-Mode - automatically poisons your weapon<br><span class="wbbtab"></span>Now able to Mix several stacks of poisons into one<br><span class="wbbtab"></span>Now able to use Potions as poisons<br><span class="wbbtab"></span>Options for all of the above<br><span class="wbbtab"></span><br>Now compatiable with Oblivion v1.1.0511<br><br>Fixed bugs where using 'Previous' Poison would seem to empty out your pouch.<br><br>Various other bug fixes and background changes.<br><br><br>v1.0 (08/24/2007)<br>-----------------<br>Initial release</enter>
