With wsrowland's permission I have taken the role of updating Enhanced Quest Roleplaying (EQR). EQR attempts to improve roleplaying in Oblivion by making the following changes -

- Making your choices have consequences.
- Giving additional ways to complete vanilla quests

*In version 2.03 there are twelve vanilla quests with completely new ways to complete the quest.*

- Providing extra dialogue options in some quests
- Allowing the player to permanently refuse a quest (so the quest does not stay in your journal permanently, so if you want to do a quest then be sure to accept it)
- Altering a couple of journal entries to provide a more neutral summary of events, and removing some pointless (and idiotic) journal entries such as individually telling you that you have picked up 1,2,3,4,5, and 6 bear fangs as you pick them up.
- Modifying changes in fame/infamy to better correspond with good neutral or evil decisions.

Note while I call it Enhanced Quest Roleplaying Updated the esp is still called Enhanced Quest Roleplaying.

For people who have already downloaded an earlier version I will work out how to create a patch to update the bsa soon.

As I am now working on the mod the focus of it has shifted away from providing good vs evil and instead simply towards more ways to complete quests. What your character does should be considered 'good' for them anyway. The primary focus of this version has been to implement a more peaceful path through quests. In vanilla Oblivion characters who did not focus upon fighting skills would eventually end up weaker than their opponents. Hopefully this version of the mod will allow more diplomatic characters such as those with the class of Agent to complete quests. Importantly speechcraft plays quite a large role in determining the outcome of the quests.

The list of quests that are altered are as follows - (spoilers)

The Potato Snatcher - Added additional person to give quest to you. Provides altered path to completeion. Speak with Delos Fandas in the Feedbag.
Revenge Served Cold - This quest has been completely overhauled. In the quest originally you would fetch an amulet from a goblin that used to belong to a woman. Now the woman starts the game alive and you have a choice that will determine whether she dies in the course of the game or not. Possible ways to finish the quest now include purchasing supplies for the farm, killing the goblin boss beforehand, attempting to pass of a fake amulet as the real amulet, hiring the Fighters Guild to escort you and do the fighting for you, and the original version of killing the goblin afterwards yourself.
The Sunken One - This quest has been completely overhauled. In the quest originally you would follow the trail of a man to see how he died. Now the man starts the game alive and you have a choice that will determine whether he dies in the course of the game or not. You can now choose to take the offering to the creature yourself, or to decline and hence force him to do so leading to the original version.
When the Vow Breaks - implemented peaceful dialogue option. Results vary based on speechcraft.
Caught in the Hunt - implemented peaceful dialogue option. Results vary based on speechcraft.
The Gravefinder's Repose - implemented peaceful dialogue option (wearing necromancer robes is required for this). Results vary based on speechcraft. Possiblity to accept counter quest.
Raid on Greyland - implemented peaceful dialogue option. Results vary based on dialogue choice.
No Stone Unturned - implemented ability to return item to different NPC. Results vary based on which NPC item is returned to.
Two Sides of the Coin - implemented peaceful dialogue option.
A Brush With Death - implemented ability to demand different item for reward (different item is considerably more useful).
Unfriendly Competition - implemented peaceful dialogue option. If peaceful dialogue option is implemented then given counter quest.
A Brotherhood Betrayed - implemented peaceful dialogue option. Results vary based on speechcraft.

Other changes
Bear Season - removed pointless and demeaning journal entries.
Lost Boy Cavern - altered the script on the lich so that it will fight you at levels below 23, and if you have already visited the cave below level 23 and are now above level 23 will also allow you to fight it.
