1. Installing the Plug-in

######WARNING###### This plug-in REPLACES Reznods Mannequins (any version). If you are already using Reznods Mannequins and have bought mannequins in-game, YOU MUST REMOVAL ALL EQUIPMENT FROM THE INVENTORY OF ALL MANNEQUINS BEFORE CHANGING TO THIS PLUG IN. All current mannequins will disappear from the game, taking their inventories with them.

To install the plug-in:

a) If you are already using the standard version of Reznods Mannequins, be sure to remove "Reznods Mannequins.esp" from the Oblivion/Data directory to prevent conflicts.

b) Uncompress all the files into the "Oblivion\Data" directory. If you are replacing a previous version of Reznods Mannequins, you do not need to overwrite the existing textures.

2. Starting the Plug-in

From the Oblivion Launcher, select Data Files and check the box next to "TLS Modded Mannequins.esm" and "TLS Modded Mannequins.esp" file.

For instructions on using the mannequins in-game, see the original "Reznods Mannequins Readme" (included with the download).

3. Reason for this Plug-in

*****************************************************************

This plug-in was designed to save other new (or lazy!) modders the difficulty I experienced trying to place mannequins in my own mod using the construction set. If you try to use the normal mannequins, they either don't show up, or they all spawn at the door to the cell they occupy.

A few days of frequent crashes (learning by trial and error) and a couple of questions on the official forums led to working mannequins, and the creation of this plug-in.

4. Using mannequins in the CS

*****************************************************************

If you want to use the Construction Set friendly mannequins provided by this plug in, do the following.

a) Check "TLS Modded Mannequins.esm" and "TLS Modded Mannequins.esp" in File/Data when you have opened the CS.

b) Once loaded, the new mannequins can be found in the Object Window under Actors/NPC. Each faction (Marble or Wood) has two new NPCs, a Male and Female version with "Static" added to the Editor ID. These NPCs are the ones meant to be placed using the CS.


NOTE: In order to keep the mannequins where placed, they can no longer be made to face a chosen direction in-game, so remember to rotate them first in the CS. They cannot be packed-up and carried around/sold either.

This plug-in is not known to introduce new bugs.

This plug-in addresses one of the bugs from Reznods Mannequins. Mannequins should now wear/carry stolen items.

All other known issues with the mannequins are listed in the "Reznods Mannequins Readme".
