What is this?
=============

- This mod Illuminates the exterior windows of the houses and buildings throughout Tamriel. It gives the appearance of lights being turned on/off within a building during the evening hours.

- Shivering Isles windows are not illuminated with this mod.


Another Illumination Within MOD? What gives?
============================================

- With this mod, the original Illumination Within Revived objects are now available to modders. Illumination for windows in the base Oblivion game is also provided.

- As proof of concept for this mod I have created mods to illuminate the Priory of the Nine house.

- This project is based on the Transitional version of Illumination Within Revived 0.92 Optimised by Martigen.

- This is the fourth variation of this project. See the credits below.

From Martigen's Illumination Within Revived Optimised readme file:

"Shops, Homes and Inns each have their own schedules and transitioning (to on and to off) periods. Cathedrals don't use transitions (it'd look odd having different windows of a Cathedral turn on at different times!). And after midnight, only inns remain lit until early morning."

- I have extended the Cathedral illumination hours from 7pm to 6am. In my opinion, the Cathedral doors are always open, so the lights should be on all night. Plus, they are really cool to look at.


Installation and Requirements
=============================

Illumination Within Revived 0.92 by Stryfe is required. Illumination Within Revived Retrofitted uses the meshes and textures from Illumination Within Revived 0.92. If you are not already using it, you will need to install it.

All Illumination Within Revived Retrofitted files belong in the /oblivion/data folder.

Any previous Illumination Within .esp files should not be used during the game. Use only the files listed below.

- IWRRetroFittedMaster.esm - Required
- IWRRetroFittedWindows.esp - Required (contains the illuminated windows for the base game)
- IWRRetroFittedLights.esp - Optional (provides window glow effect, but can be more taxing on your computer)
- IWRRetroFittedShutters.esp - Optional (shutters are visibly "swung" open on some windows)

These files require The Knights of the Nine expansion and IWRRetroFittedMaster.esm.

- PONWindows.esp - Optional (Illuminates the the windows on the Priory of the Nine house)
- PONLights.esp - Optional (provides glow effects for the windows on the Priory of the Nine house)


Info for Modders
================

- IWRRetroFittedMaster.esm contains all window, light and shutter objects for use in your projects.
- All items in this mod begin with the MM prefix.
- Most objects are named so you can get an idea where they are used. Many contain the city name.

Location of items in the TESCS Object Window:

- Windows and Shutters: WorldObjects -> Activator -> MMWindowLights
- Lights(used for glow effect): WorldObjects -> Light

I would recommend creating seperate .esp files for the illumination of your mod.


Fixed from previous varaitions
==============================

- The Cropsford windows are now fixed. In prior variations of this mod, the Cropsford windows would appear before the Goblin Trouble quest was complete. As a result, they would be "floating in air" as the houses are being rebuilt during various stages of the quest.


Future release wish list
========================

- Add illumination to ship windows.
- Add illumination to Priory Chapel windows.
- Add Illumination to the buildings and houses in Shivering Isles.
- Remove transitional timing from grouped windows. Windows that are made up of 2 or more windows can have panes that are out of sync with each other.
- Synchronize the timing of the glow effects and illuminated windows. Currently, it is possible for a brief period, to see the glow without an enabled illuminated window mesh. Windows, lights and shutters all controlled in seperate scripts.
