Using The Mod
===========

The spells are given to you when you first start the mod, I thought about adding them to vendors, but most of us already use these spells, so I didn't think we should have to buy them again, and for a few technical reasons as well.

You will also receive a quest when you first start the mod, this can show you all your marked locations whenever it is activated... You can do this by going into the journal and setting the quest active.

Installing The Mod
=============

Just drop the .esp file in your Oblivion data folder..

"C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data"

Advanced Mark
===========

This lets you mark nine different locations in the game world, it works in the Shivering Isles, and Tamriel, and the Oblivion planes as well, you can transport between any of these worlds freely..

Note: Make sure you let the spell wear off before casting it again, you can see its timer in the top right corner.. A lot of variables are being set, and if you don't allow it to finish, it could cause problems....

This spell allows you to return to any previously marked locations....

Companion Teleport
==============

This spell allows you to teleport your companions to any of your marked locations, simply cast it on your companion, and choose which mark to send them to...

This spell will work on any living creature or npc, so you can teleport animals such as horses inside your homes, etc.. It works with npc's like guards, but they will usually have left by the time you arrive, even if you teleport instantly. due to their AI packages, and the way Oblivion works.. (Ie. They went back to their routine..)

Note: This spell should be used with care, read the known bugs section, and be sure to save before trying anything, in case something goes wrong...

Location Configuration
================

This spell is a configuration tool used for selecting which marks will show up on the world map, you can select a mark location, and it will hide all the other locations to help you keep track of which mark is which, or you can set it to show all, which will of course show them all..

Note: Make sure you let the spell wear off before casting it again, you can see its timer in the top right corner.. A lot of variables are being set, and if you don't allow it to finish, it could cause problems....

Known Bugs/Glitches
==================

Mark & Recall Bugs
=============

Not really a bug, but it may be possible to mess up quest if you teleport out of a place you shouldn't, like the dream world for example, so don't use it during a quest, unless you are sure its alright to do so....

Even using it directly after a quest can cause problems, for example there is a fighters guild quest, that requires you to help some other members out in this cave, after you do this, the trigger that ends the quest is on the exit door of the cave. so if you teleport out, it will cause the quest not to finish..

So try to use it in between quest, unless you are sure that it won't break the quest... (ie. you have played it before, and know what triggers all the scripts)

Companion Teleport Bugs
==================

The companion teleport function won't teleport Tamriel default npc's(the ones I tested) into the Shivering Isles... (I use the "toaster says share" companion mod...) It may or may not work with actual companion mod, companions...

This function can be extremely dangerous if misused, do not send default Shivering Isles npc's to Tamriel, they will get stuck there unless you take them back(not tested) through the gate using a mod such as "Toaster Says Share".....

Even that may not work, as I said, its not been tested, though it should work...

All in all this is kind of a buggy feature, it was added in by request, it works for the most part, just be aware of its limitations, and save before trying something new...

The effect will play on some objects it shouldn't like chairs..

Location Configuration Bugs
===================

Making a new mark for example "Mark 2" while only showing, for example "Mark 1" will cause it to show both marks, a minor glitch, nothing to worry about though... This will occur no matter how many marks you have created, simply choosing show "Mark #", or "Show All" will make it work correctly again...

Troubleshooting
===========

Its very easy to fix this mod if it gets messed up, should you start receiving the "I have no greeting" messages in Tamriel,..

If you can figure out which mark location is causing this, simply go through the SI gate, and re-mark the location, this should fix the problem, should this fail to fix the problem... Follow the step by step guide below to fix the mod...

For any other problems perform the following...

1. Save your game

2. Exit Oblivion (The Game, not the realm)

3. Uncheck the .esp in the games launcher

4. Start the game

5. Go through the portal to the Shivering Isles (or back to Tamriel, depending on where you are)

6. Save the game again

7. Exit the game again...

8. Turn the .esp back on in the launcher

9. Start the game again

You will lose your mark positions, but thats all, the quest, and spells will be added back almost as soon as you load your save..
