ABOUT THIS MOD:

Changes all buyable Night Eye spells to toggleable versions.

- Void Gazer
- Eyes of Midnight
- Eyes of Eventide

This mod does NOT affect Vampire or Khajit Night Eye abilities, so if you are using such a mod.. keep it active!

When you cast the spell(s).. instead of having a timer, the Night Eye effects stays on until you cast the spell again... much like most vampire mods today does for their Hunter's Sight, this mod has the same non-timer effect for buyable versions of Night Eye spells (for the non-vamps and non-Khajits).

It pretty much allows any character/race have the toggle ability for the spell instead of having to choose to be a vamp or particular race.

++ since I have Shivering Isles installed, this mod most likely will require it. Not positive, but the chances are high.



USAGE:

********************
** VERY IMPORTANT **
********************

- Backup your saves!

- Start your recent savegame and un-activate (dispel) any Night Eye effects your character has on currently. You do NOT have to delete the spell.. just make sure your character doesn't have it activated. Save and Exit.



- Drop the CzBuyToggleNightEye.esp in to your Oblvion / Data folder, activate and ENJOY!

Since all Night Eye spells are effectively the same now.. I have changed the spells to be Apprentice level costing 45 mana/magicka. I didn't see any sense to having different costs since they will now all effectively be the same spell.

Users who have already purchased a Night Eye spell "should" be automatically changed to the toggled version, so PLEASE make sure you follow the first USAGE step before activating this mod.

To toggle the spell, cast once to activate.. cast again to dispel the effect.

- to uninstall, be sure to start your game first, un-activate (dispel) the Night Eye spell if your character has it currently active, then save your game. Exit.

THEN it will be safe to uncheck the .esp from your load list. Otherwise your character may be stuck with permanent Night Eye (ick). Your existing Night Eye spell(s) "should" revert back to vanilla versions.
