Illania Nareth's Story - Part IV

Letter contained a short message: "Greetings, my dear Illania. I know, and they know, where are you right now. They're coming for you already. Leave the town immediately. I would tell you what's wrong, but neither I nor you have time." Illania had no doubts in truth of written, so she quickly took her things and left Anvil. Already on the way, she decided to return in the Imperial City, and after this - to the Blades, because she knew - her work with them is not finished yet. Soon she arrived in one of the hotels of Capital. There she was found by another messenger that
offered her to join to the Thieves Guild.

Later, Illania successfully passed a test of the Thieves Guild and excellent got through her fisrt work in the Guild. She thought, that her life established again, but during of her walking in the Imperial City she heard a rumors, that in Anvil were done some cruel murders - unknown murderers killed owner of the hotel, hunter and a couple of common people. All these people were her friends. Illania guessed that unknown people that were sent to her in Anvil arrived there and tried to get from her friend information about her. Her friend, obviously, didn't tell them anything, and paid for this with their own life. Horror gripped Illania's heart - her only friends in the province were killed because of her. Realizing, that staying in any cities and having contacts with any people would be very dangerous for her and these people, she decided to left the City and hide on the north.

But on the Talos Plaza she met Baurus, one of the Blades that were with her when the Emperor was killed. He asked her for help in his task with detecting killers of the Emperor, and she agreed. They successfully raided Imperial City canalizations and found the "Mythic Dawn's" location. Illania took out a demonic book of Mehrunes Dagon out of half-destroyed "Mythic Dawn" and returned in the Blades keep, where she feels herself in safety in the dangerous situation, that she got in again...
