As an experienced furniture maker....wheels on a hardwood floor just don't match. But it is a really nice looking cabinet. Your case though, come on put the black cover on the dvd drive! If you had a G19 keyboard that would make it the perfect set up...oh and a 52" screen "> Want to trade?
I own a builder's surplus, I have cabinet shop and door shop so kitchen cabinets is something i know all to well. Granite right now is well worth it, with the housing crash here in the states. It is the cheapest, i have seen it in while. I do not see point in, putting in granite unless they are an all wood cabinet. That fiber board which about 85% of all cabinet are just yuk... Oh man I am rambling...
my set up is much like your own with the LCDTV sitting in front of the desk. I watch TV while I play, nasty habit.. I was going to add another 22 LCD, but I think you have the point I might just move everything over...
Thanks forsaken and yep, it sure is granite! I love the stuff...minus the weight hehe. My kitchen top is made of it too, but a different one and I have a few other smaller table tops as well...all custom made of course hehe. And yeah get an LCD TV, hook up you comp. to it and kill 2 birds with one stone lol. They're bit dearer than monitor, but worth it imo coz of it's dual use.
