Even by morning, Bri felt heat unmatched by anything in Cyrodil. She had left the sandy dunes that made up most of the vast expanse of Elsweyr into a region dotted with small palms, shrubs, and boulders.

And cats. She hopped down off her horse as Chief streaked towards an incoming alfiq, notched an arrow and let it fly.

Gonna be a long day, she grumbled to herself...

It's not all sand! Some very nicely made regions here in Elsweyr, including a rocky river gorge and the occasional watering hole. LOTS of nuisance critters ranging from cats to giant boars to spiders the size of Volkswagens, and of corse the friendlier elephants and zebras.
