Redguard Assassin (pre-built). OB-Thieves Guild, SI-MQ. 06/2009

Katara came about due to what I saw as a severe lack of female Redguard images on TESNEXUS. Seems elves of every type rule the day here. Finding a good save file to start from was not that easy either. Most all of them I found looked like dark skinned Bretons. I wanted someone who (IMO) looked like a Redguard. Finally it was Kafeid's Redguard that fit the bill. With very little editing she became my Katara.

To be honest I was not real crazy about being an Assassin. That just sounds, well evil. I wanted to have fun with the character but not necessarily evil. But whenever I would try to make a custom character with all the skills I wanted, it would end up being exactly like the pre-built assassin class. So I figured what the heck, an assassin she will be, but a nicer one. ;)

Katara's first task was to get to know the land. I had her travel by foot down every main road and back road, finding every location she could. She would level up by making potions and killing game and bandits. I wanted her to be up to at least 20th level before doing any quests due to the danged leveled items in OB (what a screwed up system).

Well afterwards she joined the Thieves Guild started her way through their ranks. However due to boredom she went on to SI. She spent a lot of time there and loved the overall unpredictable way of life there. She finished the SI-MQ and about every other quest she could find.

It was only after she was finished with SI that she went back to the Thieves Guild and finished her work there. Now she sort of freelances around looking for odd things to do.
