They never were much for subtlety, thought Bri as she and Chief crept into the maze's most impressive chamber yet. Six enormous minotaur statues lined the sides of the room. From their eyes came beams of an eerie blue light, illuminating the three skeletons of previous adventurers. Bri wondered to herself what brought about their demises as she crept toward the innermost of the remains.
Then as the wall at the opposite end crumbled down with a thunderous roar, she realized the statues should have told her everything she needed to know...

Yeah, the boss is as big as the statues. He was also a good reminder to wear sturdier gear next time I do a Lost Spires dungeon; got him on the first try, but between my lack of enchants and a bad case of astral vapors, he wasn't easy.

Cool shot...took me a sec to see but like the character hiding in the corner.
Nice back story, reminded me of that episode of Duck Tales where Scrooge got a hold of a magical harp that could tell if you where lying to him more not. And the huge guardian monster that came with it.
